*Well, I'm gonna be stopped my other stories FOR NOW (im gonna continue them later. dont worry :)) and im mostly gonna be focusing on this story. I really like this one :) And I hope you guys will like this one too ^_^ -Lexa* I knelt on the floor, putting the finishing touches on my sistersâ?? wedding dress when the phone rang; making me jump and making the needle in my mouth poke my tongue. I groaned and took the needle out and answered the phone. â??Hello?â? I answered, touching my tongue. â??Um, are you alright?â? The voice on the other end asked. â??Yeah. I just stabbed my tongue with a needle. Perfectly fine.â? I chuckled, continuing to sew a small piece of lace onto the dress. The man chuckled, â??Well, Iâ??m Kenny Ortega and I was wondering if you wanted to do the clothing designing for Michael Jacksonâ??s This Is It tour.â? I dropped the needle as my jaw dropped. This canâ??t be happening. This was the best offer ever! And by the sound of it, it looks like itâ??ll be my last chance. I took a deep breath and chuckled. â??What person would say no to an offer like that?â? â??Great. Come to LA next week?â? I looked at my calendar and nodded. â??Got it. Iâ??ll be there next week.â? â??Perfect. Iâ??ll tell you where to go when you get there. Have a good day.â? â??You too.â? We hung up and I instantly screamed. My agent, Julia, came running in. â??Are you alright?â? She was obviously worried. I laughed, shook my head and stood up. â??Julia, I just go the deal of a lifetime.â? â??Which is?â? I smiled and went to the computer to buy a plane ticket. â??Kenny Ortega called and asked me if I wanted to design the clothes for Michael Jacksonâ??s This Is It tour.â? She sat next to me and laughed. â??I hope you said no.â? â??Why would I say no?â? â??Um, hello! You have your sisters wedding dress to do.â? â??Julia, thatâ??s in two days. I go to LA next week. Itâ??s perfectly fine. Câ??mon, this is the best there ever is.â? She sighed and shrugged. â??I guess itâ??s good. Just make sure you donâ??t have anymore plans this week.â? I sat up and put my hands on her shoulders. â??Donâ??t worry, Jul. Everything is perfect.â? *********************** It was the day of my sistersâ?? wedding and I have to say, the dress came out perfectly. We were now at the dance when I got a call from Kenny. I excused myself and went outside. â??Hey, Kenny. Whatâ??s up?â? â??Well, I showed Mike some of the designs you did,â? I was nervous. If he didnâ??t like the designs, everything is over. â??And he loved them. He said that you had amazing talent.â? I let out a sigh of relief and chuckled. â??Tell him I said thanks.â? â??Well, you can tell him in person next week. Youâ??re still coming right?â? â??Of course. I wouldnâ??t miss it for the world.â? ************************** Ugh. Iâ??m missing my flight! â??Julia, hurry up or so help me, I am firing you!â? I yelled, checking my watch every 30 seconds. She just rolled her eyes. â??Well, if you want to get stopped by a cop and be even more late, Iâ??ll hurry up.â? I groaned and banged my head against the window. â??How much longer?â? â??About 2 more minutes. Whenâ??s the flight?â? I checked the ticket and sighed. â??In 20 minutes. How the hell am I gonna get on the flight in 18 minutes?â? She chuckled and said, â??Run. Fast.â? And thatâ??s exactly what I did. Ran. Fast. The longest part was getting through security. It took about 10 minutes. The rest of it was me trying to get to where I was supposed to be. Thankfully, I was right on time. I sat down and sighed. That was the most stressful thing I had to do. Julia sat next to me, laughing. â??Itâ??sâ?¦notâ?¦funny.â? I said between breaths. She shrugged and put on her headphones. I shook my head and laughed. She was like my sister. I loved her, but she can be extremely annoying at times. The flight took about 2 hours and it was hell! We got off the plane and saw a limousine waiting there. Kenny got out and so did someone I havenâ??t seen in a while. â??Zaldy!â? I ran to hug him. Zaldy Goco and I were best friends in high school. But we lost contact when we started working. Weird, huh? Two almost professional designers losing contact? â??Well, if it isnâ??t little miss Lilly Thompson.â? He laughed and hugged back. I laughed and pulled away, my hands on my hips. â??Well, if it isnâ??t Zaldy â??Badassâ? Goco.â? He laughed again. â??Alright, weâ??re even.â? â??You two know each other?â? Kenny asked. We nodded. â??Best friends.â? I introduced Julia to the two and we got into the limo. â??So, are you two excited?â? At the same time, we both answered, â??Extremely.â? And laughed. Kenny laughed also. â??Well, good. Youâ??re both meeting him today.â? Our jaws dropped. â??What?!â? *Hope you liked it. I hope it wasn't too boring :P -Lexa*
