Me: (I look into his eyes) â?¦â?¦ Do we tell Val what happened? Michael: â?¦.its better off if we do, it wouldnâ??t really seem right Me: Yeahâ?¦.Can we go to bedâ?¦. Michael: yeahâ?¦ Michael and I fell asleep. A few weeks later I woke up to a loud knock on our hotel door. I thought it was Carly but it wasnâ??t. Michael got up and opened the door. Michael: whoâ??s here this early! Me: (I giggled) itâ??s 11 a.m. sweetie Michael: like I said whoâ??s here this early! (he opens the door) yes- Jâ?¦Joe?! Joe: Michael whereâ??s that wife of yours? Michael: sheâ??s restingâ?¦. Joe: Whyâ??s she resting?! Michael: Joe she just had surgeryâ?¦. Joe: Yeah to remove my dead grand child! Michael: Joe calm down! Joe: (barges in and storms over to me) Kelly!! Me: (standing up and backed up into a corner)..Joeâ?¦.(I wouldnâ??t look at him) Joe: look at me Me: no Joe: Whatâ??d you say? Me: (I glared at him out of the corner of my eye but I still refused to look at him) No My mom raised me to take no crap from anyone; even though I was terrified of Joe I stood my ground. Joe: (Slaps my face with the back of his hand) Me: (I fought back the pain and looked at him) Joe: (glaring at me) Michael: (Walks over) Joe, Joe let me talk to you Joe: (Slaps my face again but harder) Michael: JOE! Joe: (glares at Michael) what Michael: Let me talk to you NOW! I knew that they wouldnâ??t leave. So I walked into the kitchen and sat on the cupboard listening. Michael: Why the hell did you slap her? Joe: she killed my grandchild! Michael: (raises his voice a little) thatâ??s what you think she did!! Is that why you slapped her? Because you think she killed your grandchild!! Joe: Oh I have a million reasons for slapping her and I have a lot of reasons for me to slap you but I wonâ??t Michael: Give me a couple Joe: You married that thing and 2 sheâ??s ruining your career Michael: Why do you care about my career? You donâ??t work for me, and she isnâ??t even hurting it! After 2 hours of arguing Joe left, I was sitting down in front of the cupboard I was a little bored and upsetâ?¦Michael came over and sat down next to me. Me: I told you he hates meâ?¦ Michael: No he doesnâ??t Kellyâ?¦heâ??s just very difficult to understand Me: Thatâ??s what you said in what 84? Joe used the words â??I hate that thing you married!!â? Michael: (changing the subject) does your face hurt at all Me: No, but Michael! â??I hate that thing you marriedâ? he hates me and I know it Michael: Donâ??t let Joe get to you donâ??t let him destroy you Me: (I felt 2 tears roll slowly down my face) heâ??s already destroyed meâ?¦over all these years heâ??s destroyed me, he makes me feel out of place, he doesnâ??t make me feel normalâ?¦. Michael: (he puts his arm around me and pulls me close to him) Me: (I put my head on his chest) he hates me Michael: no he doesnâ??t he doesnâ??t hate peopleâ?¦â?¦. Me: yeahâ?¦whatever Michael: baby trust me, have I ever lied to you? Me: â?¦â?¦..no Michael: do you trust me? Me: â?¦. Michael: Kelly, do you honestly trust me? Me: Yeahâ?¦I doâ?¦.. Michael: alright Me: When can we go homeâ?¦.. Michael: â?¦â?¦..soonâ?¦â?¦.soon Over the next 4 months Michael and I were acting like our usual selves after I got my stitches removed. I had a â??lovelyâ? Scare on my stomach. Oh my god who am I kidding I hate this scar!! We got home on December 24th Christmas eve! We walked through the front doors of the house, it was completely quiet and everything was decorated. Me: (I look at everything) wow Michael: (puts his arms around me) Merry Christmas Me: Merry Christmas eve Michael: (Smiles) whatever (kisses my cheek) youâ??ve always got to correct me Me: (I giggled) The phone started to ring Me: Someone calling us already? Michael: humâ?¦ Me: (I answer the phone) yellow? David: HEY!! You guys are back!! Me: (holding the phone away from my ear) yeahâ?¦can you stop yelling!! David: Sorry but Iâ??ve been calling you 2 like crazy Me: Okay? Michael: who is it? Me: my brother Michael: Ohâ?¦. Well tell him I said hi! (he smiled and grabbed our luggage and brought it upstairs) Me: Mike says hi David: well tell him I said hi! Hey I have a question Me: Yeah? David: would you like to come over to my place tmrw for a Christmas dinner? Me: Sureâ?¦whoâ??s all gonna be there? David: Me, Airriel, Carly, Mom, Peggy â?? Me: Peggy!! Howâ??d you get her number?! David: the internet! Me: Does she remember me?! David: Yeah she really misses you Me: okay weâ??ll come, wait when do you want us there? David: um howâ??s 3? Me: 3 okay well ig2g, Val should be home soon from Caitlynâ??s David: okay bye Me: bye David! After we hung up I saw car lights through the window. Michael came downstairs Michael: Valâ??s home Me: (I smirked) yeah I know Valary: (opens the door) MOM, DAD! (she dropped her bags and ran into our arms) I missed you guyâ??s sooooo much!!! Me: I missed you to baby girl Michael: we both missed you sweetie! After we got all caught up with each others lives, Valary having a boyfriend now (Michael was a little upset about that) her boyfriend is coming over next week to meet us, we told Val about wat happened during the tour, and Michael told Valary to stay away from Joseph. Valary was upset and confused (confused about Joseph). Wow todayâ??s Christmasâ?¦wait todayâ??s Christmas! I get to see Peggy!! And my family!.....my mom tooâ?¦.god I wonder if she still hates me Me: (wearing dark blue flare jeans, tennis shoes, a tight blue t-shirt. and one of Michaelâ??s Jackets (because I always freeze)) (waiting downstairs for Michael and Valary) are you guys ready yet?! Michael: Yeah (he walked downstairs wearing Jeans and a t-shirt, I was a little shocked to see him in Jeans but oh well, he grabbed a jacket and slipped on his shoes) Val lets go! Valary: Coming!! (she finished putting on her make up and walked downstairs in black skinny jeans and a red shirt with black boots) Okay lets go! (she grabbed her coat) We left, and arrived to my brotherâ??s place about an hour later Me: (I knock on the door) Dog: (starts to bark) Me: David has Scooby still? Michael: Scooby? Me: Davidâ??s Great Daneâ?¦ Michael: Oh Great Valary: Great Dane?! Man we should of brought Jerryâ?¦. David: (opens the door) Hey guys come in please! (Grabs onto Scoobyâ??s collar and pulls him back as we walk inside) Me: is Peg here? David: yeah, sheâ??s in the kitchen Me: okayâ?¦. (I slip my shoes off and walk into the kitchen and I sneak up behind a short red head and grab her waist) Boo! Peggy: (jumps and turns around) OMG! KELLY! (she hugs me instantly) Me: Wow you havenâ??t changed much Peggy: yeah I have! Look at me Iâ??m starting to gray in my hair! Youâ??re the one who hasnâ??t changed! You still have your black hair and perfect skin. Me: whatever Peggy: Iâ??m seriousâ?¦.whereâ??s Michael? Michael: Over here! Peggy: oh my! Michael give me a hug!!! Me: (Thinking â?? â??She really didnâ??t change yeah whatever Sheâ??s gotten worseâ?) As soon as people started to arrive we all got into talking in the living room I had Michael on one side of me and Val on the other. We all were laughing with each other sharing hilarious memories and some sad memories. Then there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered it Me: (opens the door) Mom: (Standing right there) Me: (my eyes widened and I started thinking â??great is she gonna leave, does she hate me still! Will she even talk to me?â?)
