I love Michael
Growing up in the 70's...I remember having the biggest crush on Michael Jackson. I don't remember when I first heard him, but he was my world. I was about 8-10 yrs old. I remember the Jackson Five cartoons and the Alphabet Bet cereal commercials. On the back of the cereal box, there was a cardboard record of a Jackson Five song. My dad would cut it off the box and this record actually played. Do anyone out there remember that. I used to hum a Jackson Five tune and fall asleep only to dream about Michael. I just knew he was going to be my future husband. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of him at NY's Kennedy Airport. I will never forget that moment of seeing the Jackson Five walking thru the airport. I saw them once in concert at Radio City Music Hall in the late 70's. I remember because I was in junior high school. I had a collection of Right On magazines with the pinup pictures. And I remember winning a Jackson Five animated poster at Coney Island. One last story. I loved all their songs back in the day and there was one particular song that stayed in my mind...Looking Through the window...years had gone by and that song stayed on my mind until on my 20th birthday....that song was playing on the radio. Can you dig it?
