Me and Michael's Love Story Part Nine
This is dedicated to Michael and you readers. Thank you! So I talked on the phone with Michael, after going through the ringer to do so, and he invited me to come to his house that day. I thought it was kinda sudden, but I wanted to go, even though I was a little nervous about meeting the family. So I jumped in the shower, put on some shorts and a red tank top, brushed my teeth, pulled up my hair, and put on just some make up all in about 40 minutes. I leave the house around 2:45 and head over to the Jackson Encino home. I get there around 3:30. When I get there I see a group of fans with their posters and Jackson 5 or Michael T-shirts on standing outside. I also see two guards standing on opposite sides of the gate. I drive up to the gate and a guard asks me who I am. Me: Alonna Guard: Alright ma'am, hold on. (on his walkie talkie) Guard: Open the gate Me: Thank you The gate slowly opens and I drive through. Two girls tried to run through the gate, but the guards stop them. I drive up the drive to see nothing but Mercedes, Rolls Royces, and Lexis' lined up. So I get there and I see a gardener cutting some bushes. I get out the car and look around in amazement. The place was absolutely beautiful! Then I start walking slowly up to what looked like the main house, trying to think of what I will say when I get there to whoever opens the door. As I get closer to the house I see a huge giant giraffe that came out of no where heading my way. It scared the living daylights out of me so I let out a huge scream and start running around like crazy. The gardener is paying me no mind whatsoever. First a see a body guard running towards me, then I see the front door open, and a man with a red sweater, red flooding pants, and big white socks with black shoes come running towards me. Michael: Jabba! Jabba! (he runs to the giraffe and pets it) Michael: Hey, buddy. Come on, lets go over here. (He leads the giraffe to another direction then looks at me) Michael: *laughs* Right now I have the most froze look on my face. Me: Hhhheeeeyyy... Michael: (to bodyguard) Itâ??s alright, I invited her. Guard: Alright man. Michael: (to me) *smiles* Iâ??m sorry about that. Heâ??s normally pretty sweet, so donâ??t worry. Me: *smiles* Oh my god... was that a giraffe just walkin around? Michael: *giggles* Yeah. That's Jabba. I have more pets that I can show you later but come here! (gives me a bear hug) Michael: I wanna show you somethinâ?? (he takes my hand and drags me to the house) When we get there, I see Michaelâ??s mother and sister Janet sitting on the sofa just talking. When I get there they both look at me in surprise, but then get up to introduce themselves. Michael: Mother, this is Alonna. And Janet, this is Alonna. Me: Hi (shaking their hands) Janet: Oh, so this is Alonna. Michael: Yes. (then Janet gives me one of those â??hmm mmâ? kinda looks) Katherine: Very nice to meet you sweetie. Me: You too. Katherine: Did you make it through the gate okay? Me: Yes. There were a few girls who tried to come in with me, but yeah it was fine. While I was talking to Michael mother, Janet walks away and goes down the hallway. Katherine: Oh yeah, those girls outside, they try to break in every chance they get. Me: *smiles* At this point Michael is getting a little impatient. His mother looks at him and can notice it, so she lets us be on our way. Katherine: Nice meeting you again sweetie. Me: Alright bye! You too. Michael: Bye mother. (takes me by the hand) Michael: Câ??mon wanna show you this. Me: You gonna tell me what it is? Michael: Youâ??ll see. So he takes me to this huge, massive, game room. It has every arcade you can think of and more. It has a ping pong table, a pool table, pinball machines, race car machines and even a snacking area. Michael: What do you wanna play? Me: Oh manâ?¦. ummâ?¦. wow I donâ??t know, you pick. Michael: How about some ping pong? Me: Oooh, yeah letâ??s go. Michael is unaware that I am a master at ping pong. So we played about seven games, and Iâ??ve won all seven of them. Michael: You cheater! Ugh! Me: *laughing* How am I a cheater? Michael: Youâ??re too good at this. Me: *laughing* Oh my god, youâ??re crackinâ?? me up Michael: You know what, one more. Me: Alright, if you say so yourselfâ?¦. And I win the eighth game, for the eighth time in a row. So then we go play some of the other games like pinball, and racecar games. Around 5:30 we go and watch some a funny movie in the movie theater. Weâ??re both laughing and having the time our lives. Then around 7:45 someone comes in and says that its time for dinner. Michael: Iâ??m not that hungry. (looks at me) Michael: Are you? Me: Well yeah. Michael: Alright. (he pushes a button to pause the movie, then gets up and grabs my hand to help me get up) Me: Hey, what are they having? Michael: *shrugs shoulders* So we get to the main house and go to the dining area. I see Katherine, Janet, Randy, and Latoya sitting down. Michael then introduces me to Randy and LaToya, and they stand up. Michael: Alonna this is my brother Randy and my sister LaToya. Me: Hi Randy: This is Alonna? Hi LaToya: Hi. Ooh I love your hair Me: Thank you. So we all sit down and I sit next to Janet. The chef brings us our dishes, which was King crab legs. Even though Michael wasnâ??t eating, he sat in a chair next to me. So while weâ??re all talking while eating (just small talk), Michael kept bumping his leg on mine and pinching me under the table. I tried to act like I didnâ??t notice him doing it at first, but eventually everybody noticed because of the expressions on our faces. Then after dinner, around 9, me and Michael literally run back to the movie theater. While we running there though, I tripped and fell on the ground and scrapped my knee really badly. Michael: Are you ok?? Me: Aow, Noâ?¦ Michael: Câ??mon, letâ??s go get you a band-aid. (he helps me up, and wraps my arm around him) Me: Aww, it stings. Michael: Weâ??re almost there. (opens the door, and sits me on the couch) Michael: Stay here, Iâ??ll be right back. Maid: Do you need help, sir? Michael: No Iâ??ve got it, thank you. (he runs down the hallway) (Randy enters the room) Randy: Oooh what happened? Me: Fell. Randy: Aww man, that looks like it hurts. Whereâ??s Mike? Me: I think he went to get a band-aid. Randy: Oh alright Michael comes back in the room with a big band-aid, cotton ball and peroxide and gloves. Its as if heâ??s getting ready to perform some surgery! (Randy walks away with a disgusted look on his face) Michael: Lift your leg up a little. (gets on one knee) Me: *thinking to myself* Oh my god, heâ??s so sweet! (lift my leg) Me: *giggling* Michael: *smiling* What? Me: Nothing (he soaks the cotton ball in peroxide and puts it on my bruise) Me: Aaaaooooowww! Michael: *smiles* I know it stings, but youâ??ve gotta get the dirt out of it. (carefully puts band-aid on) Michael: Is that better? Me: Thank you. Michael: Now be careful this time. Me: Yes, Dr. Jackson. Michael: *smiles* So we walk to the theater and continue watching movies, and go back to the house around 11:00. He takes me to his bedroom, and on our way down the hall, I think I caught a glimpse of Joe. So we get to his room, and its a bit messy. Michael: Sorry for the mess, you can sit here *points to bed* Me: It's fine. (pause) Me: I can see you're a huge Peter Pan fan. Michael: Yeah, he's my biggest inspiration. (I nod) Michael: Sometimes I feel as if I am Peter Pan. Me: What makes you say that? Michael: I just relate to him in so many ways. Me: Yeah, I can kinda see it. (I stretch my arms then fall back on the bed and see a clock) Me: Oh wow, I didn't realize how late it is. (Michael looks at the clock) Michael: Me neither. (pause) Michael: Would it be okay if you, stayed the night? Me: Like sleep over here? Michael: Yeah, that way you don't have to leave so soon. I don't want you to leave now. Please? (I think about it) Michael: Pretty please? Me: Well... Michael: *has puppy dog face* Pretty pretty please? Me: Okay okay, I'll stay. But just tonight alright? Michael: *smiles really big* Michael: I'll have Janet give you some pajamas. Me: *smiles* (he rushes out the room and comes back a minute later with a giant T-shirt and plaid pajama pants) Michael: Here. Me: Is it alright if I take a shower really fast? Michael: Yeah. The linen closet is right by the bathroom. Me: Alright. I go in the bathroom, take a and brush my teeth and put my pajamas on. I come back out and Michael is sitting by his bedroom window, just looking out with his PJs already on. By this time, its almost 12, and I'm tired. Me: *yawn* Hey Michael: Hey (I sit on the bed) (He comes and joins me) Michael: Oh, I forgot, I have something else I wanna show you. Me: What? Michael: Close your eyes. Me: Where are you taking me now? Michael: Just close your eyes, you'll see. Me: C'mon tell me. Michael: I'll show you when you close your eyes! Me: *smiles* Alright. (I close my eyes) (I feel something that's big round on my lap) Michael: Ok open (I open them slowly) Me: A basketball? Michael: Yeah. Remember how I first met you? Me: Yeah. Michael: Well, this is-- Me: *gasp* Oh my god, this is my old basketball that I never got from the neighbor's yard! Michael: *smiles* Me: And you kept it all this time? Michael: Yes. Just for you. Me: Wow this is... Michael: I was always hoping I would find you someday. (I get up and give Michael a long hug as tears roll down my face) Michael: You're crying. Me: You have no idea what this means to me. Thank you. (he wraps one arm tighter around me as he uses the other to hold my head close to his body) I look Michael deep into his eyes, and slowly lean in for a kiss. He follows and kisses my lips back.
