Someone did answer but it wasnt Michael.It was his mother."Can I help you?"Katherine said gently."Is Michael in?"Melanie asked nervously.Katherine gave her a suspicous look."Im a friend of his."Melanie said while her cheeks burned."Im afraid he isnt here.He is on a date with his girlfriend Tatum."Melanie's face fell.She disobeyed Julie again for nothing.But Tatum was his girl so she would obviously get more preference."Thanks and please dont tell him I was here."Melanie said glumly. Katherine smiled at her trying to make her feel better. That obviously didnt work. It wouldve worked better if it was Michael smiling at her and telling her she wasnt to blame for the whole Bryce thing. Melanie was walking back and passed the park and spotted someone on one of the benches staring into space and knew who it was by their afro.
