He thrusts the air,
And then a tear
Across our perceptions
Of fascination, deceptions -
Don't be deceived:

They'd rip him down,
Those fractions of men, clowns
Insinuating evil,
Not happy till the kill.
Awake your imagination,

Free your godamned soul.
Exit this black hole
Of cynicism - your life you taint.
A screech, and the millions faint
To hear the voice

Fluent in the tongue of all emotions.
These men, filled with notions
Of children and lies -
Not this man, who broke the ties
Of race and hate.

Yet hated, jealousy,
There was no felony -
Watch the stage, the moonwalk,
Cease your talk,
Be inspired, as I.

Precious Rhinestone, most rare gift,
In coldest season, you did uplift
My heart, my life
All abandoned in strife,
And I did witness the miracle

Moving as breathing,
Escaping the seething
Anger of the mundane,
Relieved of all pain
In the presence of a gloved genius.
