Taken for Granted (Part 26)
Hey guys! Its VERY early in the morning but school today starts later so i wanted to write this part now. Well, id like to dedicate this part to my friends and Michael Jackson. ENJOY!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Kalvin: Its true. When you left i was so enraged and needed someone to hold me and take care of me. So i came back to the states about the time you did and well... Me: Well what? Kalvin: I paid people to sleep with me. Me: *eyes grow wide and gasp* KALVIN! How COULD YOU! You know better than to do something like that!! You know that around 81% of hookers, or prostitutes have AIDS!!! DONT YOU?!? Kalvin: Im sorry, Harper! I didnt know what i was thinking!! I was scared! And when i wasnt feeling well i decided to take a test for it and i have it. And i cant take it back! Me: Kalvin, how long did the doctors say you have left? Kalvin: *silence* Me: Kalvin, ANSWER ME! Kalvin: 6 months. Me: You can still give me away at my wedding! Theres still time! Kalvin: No there isnt! If youre wedding is in a month, im gonna be in a hospital room getting medicine in me. But its NOT going to do ANYTHING to help me survive the rest of my life! Its just gonna keep me living for a bit longer. Me: I know. Kalvin: What? Me: We're going to have the wedding next week. Kalvin: Harper! Are you nuts! To plan something like that is not gonna take a week to do! Me: Im gonna make it. Kalvin: *sigh* Fine. But if things dont turn out the way theyre planned, i wont be surprised. He was right. After a little while i leave and needed to get home immediately to tell Michael whats gonna be going on. He's not gonna be happy. I make it home and Michael greets me as soon as i walk in. He could see something was wrong when he looked at my face. Michael: Hey Harp'! *pause* Everything ok? Me: Um not really. Michael: Did Kalvin say he wouldnt? Me: No hes going to. Michael: Thats great! So why are you so glum? Me: Well, because of Kalvin's health issues, we're gonna have the wedding.....next week. Michael: WHAT?! Wait a minute. What health issues? I bury my head in my hands and start crying. Michael gives me a hug to comfort me. Michael: Sh sh. Dont cry. Everything is alright. Sh sh. I could always count on Michael to make me feel better than i was. But thats not gonna make things better. Me: K-K-Kalvin has...AIDS!! Mike was speechless. He's never met Kalvin. But he knew that Kal was my only brother and source of family that i have left. Michael: Im so sorry Harper. Listen. We'll have the wedding any day you want it. And no matter what, its gonna be the day you want or need it to be. Me: A-Are you sure? Michael: Absolutely. 1 week later... Its the day of the wedding i got everything that i needed. All of Michael's brothers were the best men. Mike's three sisters were my bridesmaids and Megan was my maid of honor. Kalvin was going to give me away like it was planned. The flower girl was Rebbie's daughter. And the ring bearer was Tito's three sons Taj, TJ, and Taryll. And so far, everything is perfect. For now. We're in the chapel of Mike's house about to start. I slowly peek through the cracks in the doorway and saw Michael standing there looking SO handsome. Throughout the time we've planned this Michael has been trying to see me in the dress. He even tried getting pictures of it with his brothers sneaking the camera and taking it. But it didnt work! Megan: Are you ready, Harper? Me: Yes. I hear the music play and all of the bridesmaids start walking. Then Stacee (Rebbie's daughter) starts walking out and throwing the flower petals. This was it. I was about to be married to my true love. Kalvin links arms with me and walks me out in the aisle. I could feel my baby kick me and it made me even more excited. I cant believe im doing this! This is going to be the best day of my life! We make it in front of the alter and Kalvin kisses me on both of my cheeks and he whispers in my ear. Kalvin: *whispering* I hope you have a successful life with him. I know that i can trust him to take care of you. Then he hands me to Michael and sits down. Michael started to cry. He looked so happy! Once the music stopped the ceremony began. Priest: Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate, instituted of God, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his Church: which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence and first miracle that he wrought in Cana of Galilee, and is commended of Saint Paul to be honourable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly; but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God. Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace. Silence flooded the room. No one was going to say anything to ruin Michael and I's marriage. We were glad that everyone was happy that we would be together. After a lot of stuff the priest said he started with the most important part of all. Priest: Michael, wilt thou have this Woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live? Michael: I do. *smiles* Me: *smiles* Prist: Harper, Wilt thou have this Man to thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honour, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live? Me: I- Before i could answer i felt lots of kicks from the baby and then slimy cold liquid started oozing down my leg. Oh no. Me: Uh oh. Michael: *whispers* Um whats wrong honey? Me: *whispers* Its time. Michael: For what? Me: My water broke. ---------------------------------------------------------------- What did you think!! I hope you liked it! ANOTHER twist around you werent expecting RIGHT! Well anyways. PLZ VOTE Id like 15 at the least! And plz read on to part 27 when i post probably this afternoon central time. Well, gotta go, BYE!!!
