Taken for Granted (Part 20)
Hey guys! I'll do my best with this part. I stayed home sick today and i feel like crap. Id like to dedicate this part to the Jackson family and Michael Jackson. ENJOY!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- -- I was too shocked to talk to anybody on what happened. So i chose to watch TV. I was flipping through the channels but of course there was nothing on. Then the phone rang. Me: *sigh* Hello? ???: Harper? You dont sound so good. Everything all right? Me: Ya everything's fine Michael. Michael: Ok. I called to say hi. Me: Hi. Michael: *giggles* Hi. So whats going on? Me: Oh nothing. Just watching TV. Michael: Cool. We're heading to Switzerland tonight. Me: Oh have a fun safe trip ok? Michael: I will babe. Love you. Me: Love you too Mike. Michael: Bye. Me: Bye. I hung up the phone. I knew that i should have told him the news. Both about me being pregnant and Ann dying. I had to tell someone. But who? RING RING ???: Hello? Me: Is this Marlon Jackson? Marlon: Yes. Whos calling? Me: Harper. Marlon: *gasp* You mean Harper Jones?! Me: Uh ya. Marlon: Oh my GOD! Its good to hear your voice! Me: Thanks! Um yours too. Marlon: You know all of us have missed you. Are you still in Germany? Me: No Michael and i left two months ago. Marlon: Wait are you and Mike together? Me: *smiles and blushes* Ya. Marlon: Well FINALLY! Me: *laughs* You just KNEW that we were gonna be together huh? Marlon: Duh! It was so obvious! You two kept flirtin and having a good time and all. And then you moved there! Me: Well now im back! Marlon: When exactly is Mike's tour over any ways? Me: Um end of January. But he'll be back by then. Marlon: Good. Wait where are you anyways? Me: Neverland Ranch. Marlon: Are you telling me you moved in with Michael? Me: Ya. Say why are you asking so many questions? Marlon: Cuz i havent heard from you in 5 years thats why! Me: Instead of talking on the phone, how about you come here and we can have a face-to-face conversation. Marlon: Sounds good to me. Me: Can you come any time soon? Marlon: Uh ya. I'll be there in about 45 minutes ok? Me: Thats fine. See you then. Marlon: Bye. I put down the phone and was excited to be seeing Marlon again. I wonder if he's changed at all since the last time i saw him. Oh well. I guess i'll have to find out. 45 minutes soon went by and Marlon arrived. He looked SUPER FLY! Oh my God i cant believe i just said that. Me: Marlon! Marlon: *hugs me* Harper! *pulls back* Look at you! You look GREAT! Me: Not for long. Marlon: What? Me: I'll tell you in the back. Marlon: Ok. We walk to the backyard and sit down. I was nervous to tell him that i was pregnant with Mike's baby. But even MORE pregnant to tell him that Ann had died. Marlon: So what were you gonna tell me? I hesitate for a minute. This could go REALLY bad or really good. Me: I'm pregnant. Marlon: Y-You are? Me: Mmhmm Marlon: Is Mike the father? Me: *nods* Marlon: Wow. Mike finally lost his virginity huh? Me: Ya. To me. Marlon: You know he had two opinions on sex. Me: What were they? Marlon: Well, he was very afraid of it. Me: I could tell at first. Marlon: Im sure you did. And he was also curious about it too. Me: Im sure he's VERY curious now. We laugh and were having a good time. Until Marlon brought up something that was haunting me since i invited him over. Marlon: So how's that friend of your's Ann doing? I didnt answer him. I looked at his hand and noticed he was wearing a wedding ring. Which would make it a little bit easier to tell him. Me: I just found out that she's dead. He was speechless. Didnt say ANYTHING. Marlon: W-When did you find out? Me: Right before i called you. Marlon: H-How long? Me: How long what? Marlon: *looks down* Since she's b-been d-dead. Me: Two years. He burried his head in his arms and started crying. He really cared for her. I just didnt know how much. Me: Marlon. Think about it. She's in a better place. Marlon: I wish i was with her. Me: We all do. Trust me. Marlon: *wipes tears away* How long have you been pregnant? Me: I dont know. I took a pregnancy test today. Marlon: Oh. Does Mike know? I didnt answer him. Me: No. Marlon: Are you gonna tell him? Me: Yes. Marlon: When? Me: Marlon, youre making me really uncomfortable by asking all of these questions. Marlon: Sorry. Me: Its ok. Marlon: *sighs* Id better get going any ways. *stands up* I'll see you later. Bye Me: Bye. WAIT! Marlon? Marlon: Ya? Me: Dont tell your family about it yet ok? I want Michael to know first. Marlon: *smiles* Your secret's safe with me. ---------------------------------------------------------------- What did ya think! I know that it was REALLY boring but i blame my illness.
