Michael Poem

He came to the world
With a need the entertain
We loved him a lot
And we cheered him on

But then one day
His pride was snatched away
What seemed like the perfect man 
Was said to be different

He was like a cat
Cute and Gentle 
But Ferocious inside
People said he was crazy
Said he didn't care
But They wouldn't know
Cause they weren't there

They told us stories
And we lived a lie
Never touched him
But he touched my heart
My soul
My conscious
And Now that he's gone
The truth comes out

And all I've learned is a lie
And that he was wrongly despised
That they were only teasing
But they destroyed his life
They tell us things
One side and another
One side says one thing 
And One side says something other

He sung with passion
He sung with grace
Everyone even haters know his face
We tell 'em to stop trippin on him
But they dont listen well
So now hes gone
And everyone can tell

Yes we are sorry
Yes this is sad
I am depressed
I am mad
The lies they tell
They stories they sell
IT will never stop

And that's why I say
Don't read those magazines or papers
Why waste your time on those lies?
Why tell your friends about these things?

Now I am finished
With my tribute but it still goes on
He's a destroyed legend
And let me bet
His legend isn't over yet.
