Letters from Hayvenhurst Avenue Pt. 2
RECAP: Natalie just bought me a brand new MJ CD, entitled â??Forever Michaelâ?. As I was going through the album booklet, I noticed this â??announcementâ?: Hayvenhurst Avenue, Encino California 91436. Below, it said: The above is the actual Jacksonâ??s home address. So to any fans out there, you can send fan mail to your favorite family, the Jacksonâ??s! You can send your fan mail to any Jackson family member, which will then be chosen through a raffle. The letter chosen will be replied to, under these conditions: The announcement was continued on the next page, it read the official rules of a raffleâ?¦ ~Official Rules and Regulations: â?¢Entry is open to residents of the United States of all ages. â?¢Sponsors are not responsible for any problems with your entry, including any problems resulting in mail loss. â?¢Sponsor has the right to disqualify any person tampering with the operation or conduct of the Promotion, including, without limitation, the entry process or the operation of the web site or otherwise violating these rules. â?¢Acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent to the use of his/her voice, name, likeness, biographical information and/or photograph by Sponsor for promotional or advertising purposes in connection with the Promotion. Blah, blah, blah! Long story short- I could enter! Me: OMG! *wide eyed* I have to send a letter! Natalie: What are you talking about? She asked me this as she was still driving. When I explained what was going on she swerved the car a little. I clutched my fist on my arm rest and yelledâ?¦ Me: Whoa! Keep your eyes on the road! Natalie: Sorry, I just got a little excitedâ?¦ Me: Yeahâ?¦ anyway come over my house for a slumber party! Natalie: *acting childish* Yay! We can look up Michael on youtube and write him sexy love letters! Me: *confused* â?¦Okayâ?¦ that was, umâ?¦ creepy. Natalie:*smiles* Iâ??m just kidding, but I have to get an over night bag from home first. We arrived at Natalieâ??s house. While I waited for her in the car, I was listening to the soothing sounds of Michael. While listening I thought to myself: This whole fan mail thing is too good to be true. Would any letter received really be genuine, from MICHAEL? Me: Iâ??ll write anyway, I just hope I get picked in the raffle let alone a reply!... After a few minutes waiting for Natalie, I saw her exiting her home with her bag, closing and locking the door behind her. We finally arrived at my house which was empty, but there was no mind, my mom wouldnâ??t care if Natalie was there. They trusted us and knew we where like sisters and Natalieâ??s parents thought the same of me. Me: What to do, what to doâ?¦ Natalie: Write a letter is what weâ??ll doâ?¦ Me: Great! *smiles* you can help me. I want the letter to be perfect if Iâ??m gonna get a chosen. Natalie: Sure, Iâ??ll help you. I looked up at the clock which now read 9:18 P.M.. After about 2 hours of brainstorming we finally put something together; and my mom came home. Mom: Hey guys Iâ??m home *shuts door behind her* We came out of my room and greeted my mom. Me: Howâ??d you know Natalie was here? Mom: Her carâ??s parked out front. Me & Natalie: *laughs* we knew that! Mom: *smiles* Sureâ?¦ so Natalie, are you spending the night? Natalie: Yep, thatâ??s the plan. Oh, and were wri- *gets cut off* Me: *nervous* were wrapping up our winter vacation! The last weekend! *uneasily smiles* Mom: Goodâ?¦ well Iâ??m going to bed, so donâ??t make too much noise. Me: We wonâ??t, goodnight mom. Mom goes to bed. Natalie: *snappy* what was that all about? Me: *snappy back* you should know by now how uncomfortable I get when talk about my love for Michael with my mom is around. Sheâ??ll just make fun of me and tell me Iâ??m obsessed, which Iâ??m NOT. Natalie: *puts up hands* Sorry, wonâ??t happen again, Ms. Paranoid! Me: Look, letâ??s just finish this in secrecy, OK? Natalie: Whateverâ?¦ This is actually fact, the whole thing with my mother. I donâ??t know why this is the way it is but itâ?¦ is. We should have stayed at Natalieâ??s house, sheâ??s a Michael Jackson fan but her mom doesnâ??t nag her! She has it too goodâ?¦ After reminding Natalie to keep my secret love, secret, we typed and printed the letter, and I put it in the most beautifully unique stationary I hadâ?¦ a plain white envelope decorated my ME! I figured Iâ??d make my letter personified as much as possible. After the letter was sealed, I placed it in my underwear drawer, a place my mom would never go! After playing around on the computer for a few hours Natalie and I decided to make some prank calls, but not to just anyone, but the bitch trioâ?¦ Remember those fake idiots from Pt. 1 that I thought were good people, turns out for the rest of the school year Allie was dubbed a hoe, which isnâ??t hard to believe considering I'd see her kissing on a different boy at school in the hallway every few months, Jesse became Kristen's flunky (side-kick), and Kristen became a real gossip girl, she even started a rumor about me and Natalie! All of them became popular without me, but for the wrong reasons entirely... Natalie: I can't believe you still have they're number's on your phone... Me: Well, I WAS going to delete them, but then I thought I'd keep them for revenge. *laughs evilly* Natalie: Hecky Yeah! I mean who the hell does Kristen think she is! I woulda kicked her ass if you hadn't have calmed me down... Me: HELLO! Language! My mom's across the hall! Natalie: Sorry girl... you know how I get when I'm mad. Me: Humph, I know that!
