Questions Remain - Part 1

"Can I open my eyes now?"
"Hold on."
She giggled.
His hands slowly removed from her eyes.
"Suprise! Happy birthday!"
Her jaw dropped. She was expecting a quiet dinner with Josh but instead she found herself surrounded by 60 of her closest friends and family.
She welcomed her friends and family with hugs while she recieved her gifts.
Josh crept up behind Emma and wrapped his arms around her waist. 
"Happy birthday baby." he whispered gently in her ear.
She turned around and placed her arms on his shoulders.
"I couldn't of asked for a better birthday. Thankyou."
She kissed him on the lips and he tightened his arms around her waist. She felt his hands slowly move up her t-shirt but she soon realized they were around family and friends.
She removed her lips gently and whispered back in his ear.
"You can give me my birthday present later baby."
He smiled and pecked her lips. "I'll go grab the cake."
His arms left her body.

"Happy birthday baby, blow out your candles girl, this cake is heavy," exclaimed Josh. It was his girl's 26th birthday and he was more than glad to throw her a party and show her how special she was to him. Emma looked at the cake and smiled.
"Babe, how many candles did you put up here?! I'm not turning 50!" she playfully joked with him. The crowd of onlookers laughed and awed at their playful bickering.
"Yeah I know; it's your 35th birthday right?" She chuckled and hit him on the shoulder and then blew the candles out. Everyone began to applaud and whistle. Josh turned around and handed the cake to Emma's brother, Kevin, then grabbed her by her waist and pulled her into his embrace. 
"I love you baby, happy birthday." He leaned in and gently kissed her lips.
"Thank you sweetie, you are amazing; I love you too." Emma gave Josh one last sensual kiss on his cheek before pulling away to address her party guests.

"Thankyou everyone for coming tonight! I'm so happy to see everyone here. I hope you have a great time and I love you all!"
Josh pulled a thumbs up at the DJ and the music began to play through the condo. The party was underway. Everyone was enjoying themselves, eating, drinking, mingling, dancing and it was all in her honor. As the party continued, Stacie mingled and tried her best to hear her friends over the music. Everyone was pulling at her in an attempt to talk with her if only for a few minutes, she was the guest of honor and on top of that she just had a contagious personality that drew others to her. 
Emma seemed so pleased, she had an amazing boyfriend, the best friends and a caring family, she couldn't think of anything better than to spend it with all of them tonight.
