EMOTIONS -- part four

Marlon greeted me by kissing my neck.
Me: Marlon!
Marlon: What?
Me: I thought we were taking it slow?
Marlon: Oops. Guess I cheated.
Me: *sigh* 
Marlon: Whatâ??s wrong?
Me: Guess Iâ??m a bit nervous. Meeting your parents.
Marlon: *laughing* My momâ??s as harmless as cherry pie.
Me: Uh, and your dad?
Marlon: *quietly* Heâ??s okay.
We were silent until we pulled into their enormous driveway.
Me: Wow.
Marlon:  Yeah. Itâ??s nice.
Me: Nice doesnâ??t even sum it up.

We walked into the house and saw Katherine and Joe in the kitchen. Katherine was cooking at the stove and Joe was talking to her at the dining table. 
Marlon: Hello mother. Hello Joe. This is my friend Sophie Harris.
Katherine: Hello Sophie. Nice to meet you. Iâ??m Marlonâ??s mother Katherine.
Joe: Yes. It is nice to meet you. *looking at me up and down* Iâ??m his father Joe.
Me: Itâ??s nice to meet you both.

Marlon went into his room to change and I decided to get to know his brothers. Starting with Michael.
Me: Hey Michael. What are you doing?
Michael: Just drawing.
Me: Yeah? What is it?
Michael: Mickey Mouse.
He showed me and I was shocked.
Me: Oh my goodness! Thatâ??s amazing! How do you do that?
Michael: Oh. Here, you just do thatâ?¦
Marlon was gone for a while and while talking about drawing, Michael and I were in a position that looked wrong. We werenâ??t doing anything but he had his body over the top of mine and his face was just inches from my face. He was showing me how to sit properly when drawing when Marlon walked in.
Marlon: What are you two doing? 
Me: What?
Marlon: Michael! What are you doing?
Michael: *moving away* I donâ??t know what youâ??re talking about.
Marlon: You were doing something with Sophie!
Me: *laughing relieved* No Marlon. You have it all wrong.  Michael was just explaining how to sit properly when drawing to me.
Marlon: Promise?
Me: *still laughing* Promise!

We went to the dinner table and ate dinner. Everyone was having a good time and I enjoyed myself. It was 9:00pm when everyone was finished. Marlon didnâ??t want Katherine or Joe knowing that he and I were dating. It was weird. 
Marlon: Hey have you seen Grease?
Me: No. I really want to.
Marlon: Wanna see it next Friday with the boys?
Me: Do they wanna see it?
Marlon: Nah, but they wanna make out with their girlfriends during the movie.
Me: *uncomfortable* Uh. Okay Iâ??ll go. But remember, weâ??re taking it slow.
Marlon: Damn. But youâ??re so fineâ?¦
Me: Slow.
