Me & Captain EO:Love In The Stars (01)
Part 1. Today is August 1, 3024. My name is Starlight Zeon and I'm 27 years old even though I act 12 sometimes. It was another normal day here on Lexon. My planet. The Sun and moon were both height in the sky that was the same shade of blue and purple every day. I walked over to my window and looked out. The city of Magdom was well awake. Cars and space-ships where zooming through the air high above the people who walked on the concert sidewalk below. I walked over into my bathroom to get myself ready for my interview with Commander Bog who is the head of the Core. The Core is a league of people that work together to keep peace between planet, destroy evil, and keep love and peace around. My father was their top Caption. Caption Fleet was his name. He gave his life to save the planet Earth 3 years ago. Our home planet. This planet is a lot like Earth but not quite the same. While I was in the restroom I took a shower, I brushed my hair which is long and black, then I brushed my teeth and all. After that I put on my outfit which is a white skin tight top that cuts off at my bellybutton and a white mini skirt to match. After that I put on my white high heel boots that come up to my knee cap. I know the outfit is kind of well, trampish, but that is the style now. I walked outside and was on my way to the Core. It was 5 streets away. I walked down the sidewalk like all the others and looked up at the all the tall building. The city of Lexon is somewhat like New York and Tokyo mixed together. Updated by technology but not by much. Even though humans have come a long way they still cling onto their way of life as they know it. I finally reached the Core. It was this tall solid white building with dark windows on all the sides. The building had 20 floors in all. I had to go to the 20th floor to meet Commander Bog. All the way at the top. I stood outside the doors for a moment and took a deep breath hoping to make it. I wanted to be just like my father, the best. I walked in and seen all these people walking around in white suites that were all the same. I wished I had one on just like them. After walking around for a while I found the glass elevator. I stepped in and pushed the 20th floor button and off I went. With ever inch higher I got my heart beat faster. After 4 minutes of anticipation I finally got to my floor. It was still at the top. The only sound was the buzz of workers in their offices and rings of phones. I walked slowly to the back until I reached a door that read â??Commander Bogâ?. I knew I was in the right place. I raised my shaky hand and gave 3 knocks. A manly voice said â??Come in.â? The door slid open and I walked in. Without looking up from his paper work Commander Bogg said â??Why are you here?â? Me: Iâ??m here to join the Core sir. Commander Bog: (still looking down) We donâ??t hand badges out to anyone. Who do you think you are? What makes you good enough to be one of us? Whatâ??s you name? Me: M-my name is Starlight sir. Starlight Zeon. Commander Bog froze in place and slowly lifted his head. Commander Bog: Do you mean to tell me your Caption Fleetâ??s kid? Me: Yes. Commander Bog: Your father was the best Caption Iâ??ve ever seen. You must be very proud. Me: Indeed I am. I want to be just like him. Commander Bog: Well you have to work hard for it. Are you sure you want to do this? Itâ??s a hard job. Peopleâ??s lives depend on us. Do you want that pressure on you? Me: I just want to help. Be all I can be. Commander Bog: Well I believe you. Thereâ??s something special about you. Youâ??re in. Me: Really!? You mean it!? Commander Bog: Yes. I expect big things from you. Me: I wonâ??t let you down sir! By this time my heart was doing back flips of joy. Commander Bog: Iâ??m going to put you in sector 7 on Captain EOâ??s team. Me: Thank you sir! Commander Bog gave me a smile and handed me my badge. I was in. He pushed a button on his desk which was a intercom and called Caption EO then offered me a seat. I sat down and waited on him. 2 minutes later Caption EO arrived. Commander Bog: EO, this is your new team member. Her name is Starlight. I stood up and tuned to EO. I stood still for a second. I didnâ??t expect to see what I saw. He was a handsome man. He had beautiful eyes the shade of milk chocolate, a smile thatâ??s brighter that the sun, dark tan skin, and curls black as space that hung down in his face. Caption EO: Hello. Itâ??s nice to meet you. Iâ??m EO. Me: Hi. Itâ??s nice to meet you too. Iâ??m Starlight. You can call me Star though. Caption EO: Okay Star. You can just call me EO. Me: Ok, EO. (smiles) EO: (smiles) Are you ready? Me: Ready for what? EO: To get to work. We have to go back to your house and get all your cloths. Youâ??re going to be staying on the ship from now on. Me: Your kidding right? EO: Nope. Me: Iâ??ll never get to see my house again? EO: Yes but not for a while. Me: Crap. EO: (giggling) Come on. We walked out of Commander Bogâ??s office and took the elevator back down then we walked out of the building. I started to walk down the street but EO called to me. EO: Where are you going? Me: To my house. EO: You walked here? Me: Yes. EO: You want to ride back your house in my car? Me: You have a car? EO: Yeah. Look. (points to his car) Me: Wow! You have a Zyron 4000! EO: Yep. Just got it last week. Me: Thatâ??s the most expensive car out there! EO: Yeah. I know. (smiles) So do you want that ride? Me: Oh. Yeah. I got into his car and we lifted off the ground. Off we went into the air. EO: Where do you live? Me: Just 5 streets away. EO: On Linux Road? Me: Yes.40896 Linux Road. EO: Oh. So we finally reached my house and he lowered the car back onto the ground. EO: Wow. You have a big house. Me: Thank you. Want to come inside? EO: sure. We walked inside and I showed him around. Finally we reached my bed room. Me: You can just sit on my bed if you like. Iâ??ll be done packing in a second. EO: You donâ??t need any help? Me: No thanks. EO: Ok. I walked over to my closet and got out all my cloths. While I packed them up he looked around. He found the picture of my father beside my bed. EO: Hey, thatâ??s Caption Fleet. Whatâ??s he doing here? Me: Thatâ??s my father. For a moment Eo froze in silence. EO: You mean to tell me Caption Fleet, the best Caption the Core has ever seen in the history of this world, is your father? My hero is your father? Me: I guess so. EO: Wow. I always knew he had a child but I never thought I would get to work with them. I heard a rumor that you were a boy. (laughs a bit) Me: (laughing) Well you heard wrong. EO: I guess I did. Who knew Caption Fleet would have a daughter and a pretty on at that. Me: (blushing) Oh well, umâ?¦thank you. (trying to change the subject) So how long have you been in the Core? EO: Since I was 18. 10 years. Me: Your 28? EO: Yep. How old are you? Me: 27. EO: (with a shocked look on his face) Your 27!? Wow. Me: Wow what? EO: You sure donâ??t look 27. Me: Thank you. You look nowhere near 28. I thought you were 20 or 21. EO: (giggling) Thank you. Me: Well Iâ??m all packed up. EO: Okay. Letâ??s get going. To be continued...
