Friends, Possibly Lovers? Part 11
heres the next part guys! =] __ I guess now this is the part where everything goes back to how it was before, meaning life before Michael came through.. Lets just hope for something different.. 1 year later... Michael and I have maintained our friendship for a while, but 5 months ago it all stopped, because you know, his busy life and all for a 14 year old famous singer. Me on the other hand, I have to admit I had a great time in Cali, I changed a bit too, I was acting more girly than I was before, I stopped being so boring and got out a little more often. I even had my first boyfriend! His name was David, he's very cute, but a little mean. I had 2 bestfriends, their names were Naomi & Rochelle(the names of my besties in r/l lol) Naomi was the funny one, and Rochelle was the gossip one. They could get me angry at times, but I still love 'em. I also had a few enemies, but lets not bring them up. Anywho... it was week away from Michael's 15th birthday. I was hoping to send him something. The next day at school; lunch... Me:Guys, guess what's in a 6 days? N&R:What? Me:I thought you two knew.. well ugh, it's Michael's birthday.. Naomi:Who.. ? Me:Michael! Naomi:No one in this school's name is Michael.. Rochelle:Naomi! It's Michael Jackson's birthday.. Naomi:Ooooh, I forgot she was besties with Michael Jackson.(laughing)I feel so stupid! Me:Ugh, you!! Rochelle:So, when are you gonna see him again? Me:I don't know.. I wanna see him so bad! But he wont answer my calls, and I don't know whats wrong with his cell phone, but I tried calling that too, I even texted him! Rochelle:You people and your damn phones these days..Play it simple and write a letter or something. Naomi:No, no, that's too old fashion. What do you think this is? Rochelle:Shut up. Naomi:Shut don't go up! Stooopid! Rochelle:(laughs & rolls her eyes) Naomi:Oh, Shanice, does David know you know Michael? Me:Yeah, but he doesn't want me talkin' to him. Man, David is trippin'! Naomi:Okay, Shanice..He ain't no good! Get with the damn program already and break up with him! Me:No, why? Rochelle:Wanna find out? Me:Find what out? Rochelle:He's cheatin!! Me:On me? Rochelle:On all 3 of this girlfriends.. Me:I dont believe you. Naomi:Everything Rochelle says is true, she always in people'd business. Rochelle:And plus, why would I lie about this, you're my friend and I care about you. I'm serious, he's cheating! Me:I thought.. but.. ugh.. I don't care anyway. Then David walks over to us.. Naomi:Speak of the devil. David:Shut up.. Naomi:Oh no he didn't just tell me to shut up! You, cheatin b- Rochelle:(cuts her off)Naomi. Just stop. Naomi:Okay, Im gonna stop. David:Thank you..(puting his arm around me) Whatsup baby? Me:Nothing.(moves his arm) David:What's wrong? Me:Nothing. David:Okay...(smiles) BYE!(runs away to his friends) Me:Ugh.. Jerk. Rochelle:What did I tell you? Me:Fine, I believe you. But I'm not breakin' up with him just yet.. Rochelle:Then what are you gonna do? Me:I don't know okay. Naomi:You better figure somethin' out.. Me:Oh, I will.. Later that day.. Since none of us really lived near eachother, we wen't our seperate ways as school ended. I went back home ofcourse, when I got there, my sister, Ashley was on the phone. She kept laughing, blushing, and dancing around. Who was she talking to? Me:Ash, I'm home.. Ashley:Okay, yeah. Me:Who are you talking to? Ashley:Marlon. EEEEP! Me:(gasps)Can I talk to him for a minute!? Ashley:NO! Me:Please, just for a little. I just wanna ask him something.. Ashley:ugh, fine.(hands me the phone) Me:Hello? Marlon:Shanice? Thats you!? Me:Now it is.. Marlon:You sound different, so hows life in Cali? Me:Good, good. I like it here, but I still miss Michael. Marlon:I know that already.(laughing) Me:Speakin' of Michael, where is he? Marlon:He's with the brothers.. want me to call him? Me:Yeah.. Marlon:Okay, hold on. (yelling)MICHAEL, PHONE! Michael:(from afar)Who is it!? Marlon:ITS SHANICE! Michael:Who? Oh. Tell her I'll call her back, I'm busy-ish. Marlon:You heard the boy.. Me:The last time he said he'll call me back was 5 months ago. Marlon:Well, I don't know what to tell you.. sorry. Me:(sighs)It's okay. Here, you can talk back to Ashley now.(gives ashley the phone) Wow, I'n starting to get the idea that Michael forgot about our friendship. This breaks my heart, see, I knew this was too good to be true. But, even though he doesn't wanna talk to me. 3 week later.. It was 2 days from Michael's birthday, He still didn't call me back like he said, I started to get the idea that he was avoiding me. So I'll give him all the space he needs, but that wasn't stopping me from forgetting his birthday. I got him a gift and everything, it was a boys' bracelet, with "Michael" engraved in it. I added a card with it to that said, "To Michael, Happy Birthday, wish you well in life. Friends since 1972 - 1973. Sincerely, Shanice S." I figured I'd send it today, so it would come in his mail directly on his birthday. 2 days passed quickly, and it was Michael's birthday. I didn't bother calling him since I was sending a gift. ***Michael's point of view*** Today is my 15th birthday, I was really enjoying things. Since I couldn't have a party, because of my religion, that didn't mean I couldn't get gifts. Things were going great when I opened my birthday presents, I even got a present from Shanice! Wow, I wonder what she got me. I opened the present and saw her gift, I really loved it. Especially since it was from her. There's even a card in it too, so I picked it up and began to read, I was happy at the moment, until I saw "Friends since 1972 - 1972". To be continued.. ♥ Boring,..
