You Are My Life by Shanice PART 9
I went back downstairs, opened my door and saw a man with shades on standing at my door, it was Michael. I was shocked for many different reasons, 1. because my pregnancy is visible, and 2. because he showed up at my house kinda late. Michael:Can I come in? Me:Sure.. Michael:Shanice, what happened? (looking at my stomach) Me:Um...come sit down and I'll tell you. Michael:(sits down)Okay, im sitting. Now what happened? Me:First, tell my why you're here.. Michael:I came to apologize again.I- Me:(cutting him off)After 7 months, now you choose to apologize? Michael:Well, you wouldn't answer my calls, and listen Shanice , I'm really sorry. I been doin' alot of thinkin' about what you said, it's been playing over and over again in my head and I realized how wrong I was. I guess you don't know what you have, till it's gone. Me:I'm shocked, I thought you forgot about me... Michael:What!? How could I forget you!?! You're special to me.. Even if we fight or argue, I won't forget you. I'll still love you too, (mutter) I still do (speaks up)but I'm really sorry. Me:Michael, can you take off your glasses? Michael:Um, why? Me:I just wanna see your face clearly.. Michael:I'm not sure if I- Me:(cutting him off)Please? Michael:Fine.. Michael took off his glasses and I saw his eyes, they were puffy, and misty as if he had just cried and started again. Seeing this broke my heart, Michael was crying.. but why? I wanted to know. Me:(sad expression)Michael, why are you crying? Michael:Because I missed you, I thought you would have found someone else. Me:(sighing)I can't do this..Michael, thanks for coming, I missed you too but you have to go. Michael:So, you're just gonna push me out like this? Me:Well yeah, cause this isn't right to Brooke, does she know that you're even here? Michael:Things don't feel right when I'm with her. I don't have as much fun with her, like I did with you. Me:Michael, I'm sorry but you gotta go. Michael:You didn't tell me what's wrong with you yet though. Me:I'll tell you some other time, please go Michael. Michael:(looking down)Okay. I got up and walked Michael to the door, I opened it and guided him out, as he walked to the door he turned around to say something. Michael:I love you. Me:(speechless) Michael:I'll go okay? I don't wanna waste your time. As Michael was walking away, I grabbed his arm and he turned around and walked up to me. I kissed him and whispered in his ear, "I love you too" . I was about to close the door but then Michael stopped me and came back inside. He kissed me passionately, it was leading to something else (you know ^^) but then I stopped. Me:Michael, I cant.. Michael:Why not? Me:I just can't. Michael:Well, can you at least give me a reason why? Me: I said I can't already!! Oops, I'm sorry, and um the reason I can't because I'm pregnant. Michael:(wide eyed)WHAT!? Me:I'm pregnant. Michael:Okay, I'm outta here, I know you had a good reason to leave me, but you go get knocked by some other guy!? (walking towards the door) Me:Knocked up by some other guy!? what!?! Michael, the only guy I slept with anyway was you. Michael:(turning around)Well..? Me:Well..(pointing to my stomach)this, is yours.. Michael:(smiling)M-mine? Me:Yes, yours (smiling) Michael:(smiling)Oh my god, I'm almost a father!! Me:(laughing)Michael calm down. Michael:Fine,(walks back to me)Well when were you going to tell? Me:When I was ready too.. Michael:And, when was that? Me:I don't know, probably when I had the baby.. Michael:How long till our baby is born? Me:Well wouldn't this be kinda obvious? How long was it since you and I had sex? Michael:7 months I think and that was the only time, wow it's been a while.. Me:Exactly, which means I'm due in 2 months.. That night grew extremely awkward because it was really quiet and really late. It was about 12:00 am now and Michael broke the silence.. Michael:Shanice? Me:Yeah..? Michael:I love you. Me:(wide eyed)Random! Michael:(smiling)I know, but you needed to know that. Me:(awe stricken)I love you too, Michael. Michael leaned forward to me, His eyes drew me closer and closer to him and just as we were about to kiss.. TV:(singing)People let me tell you `bout my best friend, He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end. The TV came on, causing us to stop kissing and focus on it. That was the weirdest moment ever. I looked down and noticed that my hand had pressed on the remote, making it hit the power button. Michael:(laughing)What the hell were you watching? Me:(laughing)Some music videos, but this wasn't on when I turned it off before. Michael:Well that killed the moment. Me:Yeah it did.(yawning) Michael:You're tired? Me:Yeah..soo tired..(lays my head in michael's lap) Michael:Ok, I'll take you to your room and leave. Me:No, no no.. stay here with me. Michael:Fine, I'll stay. Michael picked me up as if I were a bride in his arms, and brought me upstairs to my bed. He layed me down on the bed, kissed me on my forehead, whispered "I love you" in my ear and before I knew it, I was sound asleep. The next morning.. I woke up and Michael was sitting up on the other side of the bed, when I wad fully awake and took in all my surrounding, I heard him talking to someone, he was on the phone with Brooke.
