Acorn inside his pocket
I always carried an acorn in my pocket. I believed in it. It seemed like such an alienated item to be attached to a tree, at the same time it's what fascinated me. I loved the idea. I once sent an acorn plant to him to thank him for the mutual friendship. Gifts? He must have had a lot...in dollar-wise. Awards? So many, he probably ran out of awards to claim. But gifts are something he could not control, especially those gifts lacking with value. You could tell his disappointment towards our society. Those eyes... So I wanted to give him something, something you look at and you could tell there's a story behind it. Something so simple, yet it could govern your life. Something that represented him. Something that could remind him, 'our society needs you.' An acorn pot plant. That's what it is. From me to you.
