The New Girl and Michael part.7

A few months have gone by and Michael and I are like best friends now. We've been going over to each other's homes, calling each other and all that other good stuff! Alot of my friends have been coming back and telling me that Michael has a huge crush. I never believe them, although he has been acting kind of strange.
Michael and I have plans to go and study at his house and Im kind of excited because Ive been wanting to go and see what his life is like at home, but then Im kind of nervous...I mean...What if I dont make a good impression? Wait! Why does it matter? It's not like Im Michael's girlfriend.
While Im walking outside, I hear a familiar voice
???:Maiara
I turned around and I saw...
Me: Hey Michael!
Michael: You ready to go and study
Me: I thought I wasn't coming over till 5?
Michael: I know but I realized that I dont want Joseph having some big fuss over you being there.
Me: Who's Joseph?
Michael: Umm...My Manager
Me: You seem to be kind of unsure about that.
Michael: Nope...He's just my manager
Me: Okay (confused)
I didn't get it...Why would Michael's manager have a problem with me being over Michael's house. This is feeling a little weird.
We got to Michael's house and it was really nice. Once we walked in, I heard a little voice coming from upstairs.
???: MOTHER, MICHAEL'S HOME!
