The New Girl and Michael pt 6,

Recap: I just practically burned Avery in the classroom.

I had felt a little embarrassed about burning Avery to a crisp. I didnt want Michael to see that side of me...We were just becoming friends.
1ST period finally ended. I decided to rush out of the door and find my own way to 2nd period. Im pretty sure that Michael may have been a little embarrassed to be seen with me , but it didnt matter!
Michael: Hey Maiara...Where ya goin'?
Me: Oh hey Michael (looking down)
Michael: What did you think about 1st period?
Me: It was okay but I didnt think I would make an enemy before lunch!
Michael: Who? Avery? She's an okay person. From what I heard you just gotta give her time to adjust to you.
Me: I dont want her to adjust to me...At the moment, Im starting to feel the same way about her as she does with me. 
There was just an awkward moment of silence until Michael started to giggle
Me:What's so funny?
Michael: Now that I think about it...It was pretty hilarious on how you blew her off like that.
Me: What I said wasnt even funny...I didnt even understand why everyone started laughing.
Michael: That doesnt even matter.You did something that no other girl in this school had the courage to do
