As I saw this beautiful man walking down the street I started to day dreamâ?¦.Michael was everything a girl could want and more. He was just too perfectâ?¦white, beautiful teeth, a smile to capture anybodyâ??s heart, and eyes that put the moon to bed. The glow so bright that it makes me love him more and moreâ?¦.I was so into the beauty that was outsideâ?¦. â??Minnie!â? I didnâ??t realize my mom was banging on the door. â??Minnie! Open up the door!â? My mother shouted. â??That sounded like my mother.â? I said to myself. â??Minnie!â? â??Oh shoot!â? I started getting of the couch. â??Thatâ??s my mother!â? When I got to the door I opened it as calm as possibleâ?¦even though I just darted from the couch to the door within two seconds. â??Hey mommy.â? I said. â??Donâ??t hey mama me. What were you in here doing?â? She asked. â??Huh?â? She looked at me as if to say, donâ??t play dumb with me. â??Donâ??t play dumb with me Minnie. You heard what I said. What were you in here doing?â? â??Oh nothingâ?¦.I was justâ?¦uhâ?¦,â? I looked at the window and then back at her. â??taking a..â? I looked passed her for a second and then back at her again. â??nap.â? â??Mm-hm. Here.â? She handed me a bag that she was holding in her hands and handed me the other bag that was sitting by her feet so I could put them in the kitchen. When I came back she was searching for something in her purse. â??Is that all the bags?â? I asked. â??Yes maâ??am and here.â? She held out a key for me to grab. I took it out of her hand slowly and looked at her. â??Whatâ??s this for?â? â??Itâ??s the house key. You are the only one who is allowed to use it. Nobody, just you. Not even Stacey can use it.â? â??And what if I lose it?â? â??Then Iâ??d have to kick your ass.â? I chuckled and she smiled. â??Well that wonâ??t be necessary.â? We chuckled. â??Good. Blue and Glasses were sitting on the steps, Tech was picking with the wall with a screwdriver, and Michael was sitting against the wall playing with his fingersâ?¦. â??Yo college, whatâ??s going on with you and Minnie?â? Tech asked and Michael looked at Tech. â??What you mean?â? Michael asked. â??I mean, from what I see it seems like you two really like each other.â? Michael smiled. â??Itâ??s nothing. Minnie and I are just friends, thatâ??s itâ?¦.we just like being around each other.â? â??You sure?â? Before Michael could answer he noticed Blue was messing with me as I was coming down the steps. He was holding onto my leg so I couldnâ??t walk down the stepsâ?¦ â??If you donâ??t stop! Let me go buffoon!â? I shouted and Tech turned around and looked at me. I kept trying to get out of his grip but he was holding onto me TIGHT. â??Come on Minnie. You know you like me.â? Blue said. â??Oh, get real!â? I stopped moving and looked at him. â??A girl would be stone crazy to go out with a fool like you! Now move!â? I kicked him away from me. â??Stupid!â? I said. Then I walked down the steps. Just before I could open the door I see this hand open it for meâ?¦. â??There you go.â? He said. I looked at Michael and smiled. â??Thanks.â? I said. Tech and the other two didnâ??t even look at me. They kept their eyes on Michael because what he said a few seconds ago started roaming around in their headsâ?¦..Itâ??s nothing. Minnie and I are just friends, thatâ??s itâ?¦.we just like being around each other. â??Welcome.â? He said. Then I walked out the door and Michael closed it behind me. â??Just friends, huh?â? Tech asked. When Michael realized his friends were behind him he turned around with a smile. â??Yeahâ?¦just friends.â? He said. When I got to my friendâ??s house her big sister Melanie answered the door. â??Hey Mel.â? I said with a smile and she smiled back when she realized it was me. â??Hey girl. Come here and give me a hug.â? We hugged each other. â??Oh my goodness. Itâ??s been so long.â? She asked. â??Oh girl, too long.â? We pulled away. â??How have you been?â? â??Iâ??ve been good. Thanking God, we have a few more months left of school.â? â??I know thatâ??s rightâ?¦well come on in.â? I walked into the house and Melanie closed the door. â??I think little Katie is expecting you.â? â??Oh really?â? â??Minnie!â? She shouted. I turned around and saw Katie running towards me with the biggest smile on her face. I could tell she was happy to see me and I was just as happy to see her. â??Hey!â? I said as I picked her up and hugged her. â??Hey Katie Bear. I missed you so much.â? I said. â??I missed you too.â? She said. â??Youâ??ve been behaving while I was gone?â? â??Mm-hm.â? She nodded her head. â??Thatâ??s good.â? I put her down. â??You know,â? I looked at Melanie. â??all that time you and Michael were gone yâ??all two have been the only ones sheâ??s been talking about.â? Melanie said. â??Oh really?â? I asked. I looked at Katie and she put her head down. â??Yep.â? Melanie said. â??You missed me Katie?â? I asked her. It took her a while but eventually she picked her head back up. â??Youâ??re not gonna leave me again are you Minnie?â? Katie asked. I got quiet for a secondâ?¦.then I bent down to her level and looked her in the eyes. â??Iâ??m not gonna promise that Iâ??m not gonna leave again because that would not be fair to youâ?¦.but Iâ??ll tell you what, when I come back Iâ??m gonna take you, Sean, and Zeke to the park for a little play date.â? Michael shouted as he pushed Tech out of the way. He was about to walk upstairs to his apartment but he stopped at the bottoms of the steps and turned around. â??You wanna see whoâ??s bad?â? He turned taking his coat and gloves off. â??Huh? You wanna see whoâ??s bad? Then come on! Letâ??s do it! Letâ??s see whoâ??s bad man! Come on! Letâ??s go!â? Michael shouted. I backed away from the door when it started to openâ?¦. â??Michael what happened?â? He didnâ??t answer. He just kept walking. â??Michael!â? I shouted. Tech, Glasses, and Blue walked out the door. I stopped Tech as Blue and Glasses went to catch up with Michael. â??What is he doing? Where is Michael going?â? I asked. â??Heâ??s going to show us how bad he is.â? Tech said.
