Dedicated to MJSITE. Part Fourteen ~ One More Step ~ Me: Chris?!? T..- Janet: YES! Me: Damn did not see this but you two suit! Janet: *smiling cheekily* Me: What I say?! *smiling* Janet: So now me and Chris are hooked, when's you and Michael gonna be hooked? Me: *sigh* Ugh, C'mon Jan. I'm not gonna be with him. Janet: Why not?! *D: * Me: Because. *shrugs* Janet: Because ain't an answer Miss! You should know better! That would be awesome us 4 ! Me: Yeah, in your dreams love ? *winks* Janet: How about not? It's SOOO damn obvious you two are like crushing on eachother. Me: Obvious? Is it? Janet: Real. Damn. Obvious. *flares nostrils and places hands on hip* Me: So be it. *chews gum faster* Janet: What's so complicated between you two? you like eachother and- OH! I see what is it! Me: What is it? *eyeing her curiously* Janet: *winks* Don't worry I'll sort it out. Me: But... What is it?! Janet: Don't act as if you don't know! I'll be 5 minutes. Let your nails dry. Me: *attempting to get up* But Jan, What the hell is it?! Janet: *winks and closes door behind her* I knew she was up to something now, something real bad. I didn't really bother finding out what is what, knowing Janet by now. I would have got used to what she's upto. After drying my nails to speed things up I look at the time and only 3 minutes had passed since she left. 3 damn minutes! Me: *to myslef* Ugh, forget it. I sit down and sigh, looking at the one hand Janet painted and the other she excused herself on. But right at that moments she came back in lookign natural then ever and sits down and opens a magazine and starts to read it. I look at her for 30 seconds as she flicks the pages and looks up and smiles. Janet: HI COOKIE! Me: HI JAN. You wanna tell me what happened in those 3 mintues?! Janet: Uhm, nothing. Me: *-.-* ain't gonna fall for that. Seriously Jan.! Janet: I swear it's no biggie! Me: ...Fine. *¬.¬* The night lay shattered as the next morning came as I got ready to head over to class. No-one was in our dorm, so I was assuming they were all in class. I went in and everybody looked up. Everything seemed.. casual. Except with Michael and Janet. They were sat. One was red and the other was grunting and moaning. I went inside and sat on a desk alone but Chris came and joined me. Me: *sigh* Hey Chris Chris: Sup?! *tiltes head* What's up with them ? Me: I don't know.. Do you? Chris: No, she been acting strange since morning. I mean, like if she wanna dump me then get it over with! *whines* Me: *O.O* Yeah.. I'm pretty sure that's not the reason! Chris: *lifts head up from desk* It ain't?! Me: No. It's something else. *eagerly sighs and looks at them* The teacher came in and started the lesson but we had to get into 3's now. I looked around the room for who to go with, then my eyes caught Janet and Michael. They didn't budge but Chris went to join them as Jermaine and Jackie came and sat over with me. Me: *writing on the sheet* You guys... Have Janet and Michael been acting different to you? Jermaine: No.. why? Me: Uhm, They're just kinda ignoring me. *sigh* Did I do something wrong?. Jackie: I'm sure you haven't. I think Janet's on her periods and Michael... is too! *grins* Me: *>.>* Nice. *passes sheet to Jermaine* Jermaine: Yeah, we noticed. You kinda not with them so obviously there's something up. Me: *sigh* After the day had ended I went back to my room. I changed staright into my pj's and lied down in my bed. thinking. I finally drifted off to sleep but in the middle I could have sworn Michael came in to check but left.. but that might have been a dream for what's going on now. So.. The next few days went the same. Janet acting strange just nodding. She would be ignoring Michael too, Michael ignoring me although, Janet was talking to me fine until Michael was mentioned or he came in. We were now in PSE class to hand in our baby assignments. Teacher: Everyone go sit next to your buddie you were assessed with. Me: *tapping fingers on desk* Janet moved from next to me to go sit with Chris and Michael picked himself up and dropped himself next to me not even looking at me but the other way. I got out the report I done last night that we were supposed to do together but he wasn't there with me but I just noticed he got another one out of his bag. Me: *sigh* I can't take this anymore. Michael, what have I done?! He turned around and that's the first time he looked at me all this week. He layed the baby on the desk and sighed. Michael: You've done nothing. Me: So why aren't you talking to me? *:/* Michael: Because, I might need permission. Me: To talk to me? *raises eyebrow* Michael: Yeah. Me: O...K. From who? Michael: Janet. *rolls eyes* Me: Why? What she say? Michael: Don't matter. Me: But it does, you're not talking to me. I can't have that Michael looks at me and gives a small smile. Michael: Sorry. *whispering* Me: Fine.. Don't tell me, psh! Michael: *laughs* Teacher: *collects our paper* Two papers?! Me: .... Michael: *O.O* .. Teacher: Wow, was there a divorce round here! *bursts our laughing* Michael *-.-"* Me: er.. Teacher: alright, *collects both in* We both go back to our dorms. He switches on the tele and starts talking all of a sudden. Michael: She just thinks that I'm taking you away from her. That's why I'm not talking to you. Me: Janet thinks that?! wow.. Michael: I know. *sigh* Child-ish. Janet: *comes in* We gonna catch that movie or- .. Michael: And here we go..! Janet: What is that supposed to mean?! Michael: Mid sentance. I can't even be in the same room in her can I, MOM?! Janet: OH PLEASE! I said that you two could be friends but... Me: GUYS! Stop. This is stupid. *leaves room* Michael: Nice going! Janet: ugh. *goes after me* I go into my bedroom as Janet enters she sits beside me and sighs Janet: I didn't say you two couldn't be friends... Me: Then why is this all happening? Janet: Because! He was this close to asking you. Me: Asking me? I though that's what you always wanted. What happened to us 4? Janet: yes I did but what happened to Pixie Lott, Beyonce or Rhianna?! Me: ...I don't know. They're all singers? Janet: *laughs* Well yeah and so are you.. but also the big factor they have in common is they all used to be my best friend. Me: They did?! *O.O* Janet: Oh Yeah. *:|* Me: Then..? Janet: Then Michael and one of them lot started dating, then they broke up and next thing you know mine and their friendship is messed up and I lost them and look at me! *grins* I'm fine - still! but if I lose you, I know that I won't be.. Sorry. I shouldn't be selfish. Me: awh *hugs* Janet: *laughs softly* I'm being selfish and you hugging me?! take that hug back! *winks* Me: No it's just I understand but you have to know, I will never leave you for the world! Janet: You got it hubby! *winks* Me: *-_-* Why am I always the hubby!?! Janet: *laughs* But just so you know... If you and him wanna start then I say you go for it! Me: *shakes head slightly* If it means that much to you then it's alright. Janet: NO! I want yall to, but you can't leave me! Me: *smiles* I won't! Janet: Cool! So what's the answer?! Me: For what? *confused* Janet: Michael sent you a message. Me: By phone? *checks phone* Janet: NO! by me *winks* Me: Oh. *tosses phone to bed* K. SPILLLAGEE? Janet: When you gonna be his baby? Me: *chuckles* He asked me this before and he says it randomly I- Janet: I know! That's what I said, but trust me. You got to give an answer because it's for real.. -COookIIEee. x'
