Rule #5: Never talk back to a murderer

Michael looked at the notebook and chuckled.

Michael: Do you have to keep calling me that?
Me: Well, you are aren't you?
Michael: Yes, but you don't have to keep reminding me 24/7 about my lifestyle.
Me: *giggles* Sorry. I'm just still kind of surprised.
Michael: Well, you should get used to it. You're living it.

I thought for a moment. I guess I was. Once I learn how to use a gun, it's all gonna be downhill from there.

Michael: Don't be nervous, Jamie. Remember, I'm always gonna be looking out for you.

I smiled and nodded. My life would be rough now but I didn't really care. As long as I was with him.

-Night-

Michael: We should rest at the hotel up ahead, we'll get back on the road in the morning.

I nodded and put my things back in my bag. Finally, I could get a decent amount of rest.

Michael: *stops the car and sighs* Alright. We're hear.

We got out of the car and walked towards the hotel, hand in hand. I felt so happy. And now I knew the reason, because I was with him.

-In the room-

Michael: *lays on his side to face me* What are you thinking about?
Me: *smiles and looks up at the ceiling* A lot of things. You, my parents *sighs* my life.
Michael: *gently caresses my hand* Hey, it's gonna be alright. I'm always gonna be there for you.
Me: *shakes my head* How can you say that to someone you barely know?
Michael: Because, I believe in love at first sight. And that's what I felt when I first saw you.

I turned my head back to him, smiling. I really shouldn't be worrying, I believe him. I love...wait, not yet. I shouldn't think that yet. He looked back at me and smiled.

Michael: I won't let anyone hurt you.

Then, he kissed me. No, it wasn't my first kiss but it sure was the most amazing. It was soft yet passionate.

Me: *pulls away and smiles* Best kiss ever.
Michael: *chuckles* Really?
Me: *nods*

We just stared at each other for a while, randomly giving each other gentle kisses.

Michael: *kisses me one last time* You should get to sleep, honey. We have a long day tomorrow.
Me: *smiles and nods*

I rested my head on his chest and yawned. He just chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, softly kissing the top of my head.

I felt so safe knowing that he's here with me. Maybe doing this won't be all that bad.
