Chapter 11

Later that day Carl wanted to take me out to a show so I agreed. We
were supposed to go when Damon got off work but we just told him to
meet us there. The show was starring my favorite group the GAP band I
couldn't wait to see them. I wanted to see Charlie Wilson sexy self
jumping around that stage. (ew). When we got there it was super
packed, funny it reminded me of when I met Michael. When Damon met us
we got drinks and sat at this little table in the back of the place
and enjoyed the music. When it was almost time to go it was a surprise
visit from Michael. I didn't know how to feel, it wasn't like he was
there for me so why was I so nerveous. I sat back in my chair
marveling over his pure voice then we locked eyes...he smiled and
winked at me. He knew that always drives me crazy lol.

Me: leaning in to carls ear) you know what I think it's time to go.

Carl: ugh lee stop being a baby, it's just Michael...well to you.

Me: no it's my ex...the love of my life.

Carl: ok ok (leaning over to Damon telling him it's time to go) come
on lee let's go.

I waved bye at Michael, he waved back but it was a limp wave. He meant
a lot to me but I wasn't ready to see him again and I'm not ready for
an apology, it's a little to late for that. When we pulled in the
parking lot Carl told Damon to go in and that we would meet him in
later.

Carl: looking at me sternly) ok Leah, I'm waiting!

Me: looking suspecious) waiting for what?

Carl: why did you leave like that, your running again you know that
don't you?

Me: please don't say that, Rachel thinks that I'm running away from
something to, I think she's a little crazy!

Carl: lee I'm not laughing I'm worried about you.

Me: why Carlisle, huh? I'm 25 years old, and for some reason people
feel like i'm 15 and need to be watched over...I'm a grown women,
please let me take care of myself.

Carlisle: honey, I'm not Tryna be ya mama, I'm being your bestfriend,
lee tell me what's going on with you!

Me: my mom passed a week ago, Michael and I are done, John is
dead...would you like for me to go on.... ( holding my head in the
palms of my hand) Carl I am so sick of being weak I can kill over
right now, you dnt even get how stressed I am twenty four fucking hours.

Carlisle:(rubbing my back) ohhhh lee!

Me:pushing my hair back) no Carl I'm done with sympathy, i don't need
it any more, I have enough from my past to last me a lifetime, trust
me I'm fine without it.

Carlisle: well your not totally alone... You have Jessie.

Me: nope, she's busy with her new baby and new husband.

Carlisle: well, I'm not gonna talk about it anymore we can go in and
just relax how about that...that's sounds good?

Me: yeah that's a good idea.

We went in but we talked more. I'm tired of being a loser I'm gonna
take charge I'm gonna be a women and do what I have to do to get by.
Lately I haven't done anything fun guess Vegas is my time to start,
what's that saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, well I'm
gonna make sure Vegas keeps all my secrets!.

How was it for my first time back in FOREVER lol hope ou all loved it VOTE VOTE VOTE
