Personally, before i couldnt stand anything MJ. I thought he was just a creepy old man, because that's what my parents told me that is all he is, was, and always will be. Then there came Thriller. Like i have stated, i was taught to hate MJ. While we were in the middle of Soc. St. in my 6th grade year, my teacher started to play some MJ, Thriller to be exact. Many people started booing. Sadly I was one of the people that was. My teacher took up half of our class time discussing why MJ is a great musician and should be respected and treated as such. That night, I asked my mom about MJ. She told me what she called the truth. I later found out that all was a lie My first MJ song was Thriller and i was able to get the truth through his biggest hit in the world.
