Heaven Can Wait *One*
*Well, I hope this turns out well :) -Lexa* I was walking the streets after work as I usually do. But instead of it being evening, it was midnight, a bad time to be out on the streets in New York. Guy#1: *whistles* Damn, I'd tap that. Me: *rolls my eyes and keeps walking* Guy#2: *walks in front of me* Well, where are you going? I tried to get away but 4 guys were blocking all my exits. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I was so gonna get hurt after this. I ran in between 2 of the guys and into the street. I thought I would make it until... *BANG* I heard the gunshot, looking down at my chest, seeing the blood coming out of my body. I dropped to my knees and put my hand over the hole, seeing the 4 guys running as someone yelled "Call 911!" A guy came towards me and wrapped a towel around the wound. Guy: You'll be okay. An ambulance is on the way. But I knew it wouldn't be okay. I felt myself slipping away. I weakly reached into my pocket and pulled out a picture of my 3 year old daughter and held it tightly in my hand, a single tear running down my face as the last thing I heard were the sirens of an ambulance rushing down the street. -.....- I woke up, seeing a bright light. I groaned slightly and rubbed my eyes. Me: *whispering* Where am I? ???: Heaven, my child. I got up quickly and saw no other but Him himself. Me: H-Heaven? Him: *nods* I am very proud of what you have done for the children, my child. Me: T-Thank you. Him: So proud, that I have decided to make you an angel. I went wide eyed and realized had had my wings. This has to be a dream. Yeah...that's it. I'm dreaming. Soon, I'll wake up in the hospital. Him: You are not dreaming, child. This is real. Me:...But...*looks down* What about my daughter? Him: She will be fine. Remember, I look after everyone. Me: *sighs* As long as she's okay. -A month later- (As it was in the intro) Jimmy: I want more action! It get's so boring now. Me: *sighs* I know. It would at leasts be a little fun to get some excitement. Just then, we heard His booming voice calling me to come see Him. Jimmy: See what you did? He heard you. Me: Nu uh! As I saw Him, He looked like he'd been thinking. Me: Is there something I could do? Him: Yes. I can not believe I am saying this but...you are going back down to earth, alive. Me: *wide eyed* What? Him: You need to look after Michael Jackson. Something bad will happen to him on June 25 of 2009. Me: But...I thought you didn't want to save people from dying? Him: That is true. But Michael Jackson has done so many wonders for the world and he deserves to live and do more. Me: So...when will I go? Him: Soon. Very soon. I will give you time to say goodbye to everyone. When you are done, return back to me. Me: *slowly nods* O-Okay. *walks away* I can't believe this. I'm going to be the guardian to Michael Jackson. I started running over to Jimmy with a smile on my face. Jimmy: What got you so happy? Me: I'm going back down to earth, as Michael Jackson's guardian! Jimmy: *wide eyed* What?! Seriously? Michael Jackson? Me: *smiles, nodding* Katie: *yawns* Why is everyone yelling? I forgot about Katie. Katie is a 6 year old that died in a car accident. She's so much like my daughter. I got down on one knee to be eye level with her. Me: Katie...I'm gonna be leaving soon. Katie: *whines* Again? *sighs* Well, when will you be back? Me: *tears up* Kat...I'm not coming back...I'm going back down to earth. Katie: *tears up* What? Me: Kat, this is so hard for me to say. But no matter what, I'll miss you. Katie: *clutches he bear and starts sobbing* No! You can't go! *hugs me tightly* Please don't go, Lucy... It was so hard leaving her. She was like my daughter. But I finally got her calmed down and said my goodbye's to everyone else. Katie: *grabs my hand* I wanna come with you. Me: *looks at her and nods* Sure, kiddo. We walked back to Him and Katie let go of my hand. Me: *at eye level with her* I'll miss you, kiddo. Katie: *hugs me tightly* I'll miss you too, Lucy. *lets go, crying a little* So hard leaving her. I got up and walked over to Him. Him: Are you ready? Me: *looks back at Katie and smiles* *faces foward and closes my eyes* I'm ready. *Okay, this was long. lol Hope you liked it!! :D -Lexa*
