Black or White ~2~

I got up off the grits and went into the bathroom and washed my knees off,i went into my bedroom and got my bag and started to pack my clothes in it.I got on my shoes and opened the door and ran far away from the house,it felt so good to leave that stupid house of mine.

*Next Day*

I was tired of walking,i seen a whole bunch of negro's lookin' at me and i went to every person and said "Can i come inn,i haven't ate in days".One person said "No"and so did the ninth person then it was this nice lady,who was working on her garden.

Me:Um,ma'am
??:Yes
Me:May i come into your house?
??:Why?
Me:Because ma'am i ran away from a family that abused me badly

She turned around

??:Girl,you ain't nothin' but white
Me:Well ma'am white people get abused too
??:Yeah your right,my name is Katherine *shaking my hand*
Me:Hi miss Katherine
Katherine:Oh chile,i'm married to my husband,his name is Joe Jackson
Me:Oh ok
Katherine:C'mon in this house girl
Me:Yes ma'am

I went into the house and i seen a lot of people in the house and Mrs.Katherine was black,i really like blacks there simply nice.

Katherine:Ok,this is Jermaine,Jackie,Tito,Randy,Michael,Marlon,Janet,Rebbie,and Latoya and kids this is
Me:Shelia
Everyone:Hi

Then a man came in and kissed Katherine on the lips,then he stared at me then took Katherine's hand and lead her into the kitchen,then i sat on the couch and i heard Jermaine and michael talking about me.

Jermaine:Why's that white girl here?
Michael:I don't know
Me:......
