When I met MJ

I went to the Motown 25 performance. My cousin is a good friend of Berry Gordy's. They've known each other since childhood. And my cousin hadn't seen Berry for a while, so when my cousin came to town, Berry invited him to the Motown 25 performance. 
  Knowing that I was a huge MJ fan, my cousin brought me along. But I didn't think I'd be going backstage. I thought I'd just watch the show from the audience, maybe meet Mike if I'm lucky. 
So right after the show, my cousin says, "Come on let's go meet Berry" So I follow him. When we get backstage, There is MICHAEL JACKSON!!!! My cousin gave Berry Gordy the biggest embrace and they had a reunion. I was kinda just standing there waiting to be introduced. But I was staring at Michael who was about 10 feet away standing at a table with the other Jackson Brothers. I think I saw some other celebrities talking to him and were congratulating him on his performance.
  There he was, with his black glittery shirt, his sparkly glove, and smooth jherri curl. Everything I'd imagine him to be. Just as I was about to drool, I hear my cousin's voice say "specer this is my friend Berry Gordy" And I said Hi, but of course my mind was only on Michael Jackson.
  Berry and my cousin talked for a LONG time, and I'm sitting there getting nervous, because I want to be introduced to Michael before he leaves the building. More and more people go up to talk to him. So when my cousin and Berry finish talking, I tell my cousin, look it's MJ, you think we could get an autograph or something? And my cousin says: come on here Spencer before you BURST! And we go up to Michael and introduce ourselves and get an autograph. I told Michael that he did a great job. And he smiled and said thanks. He was a very soft spoken person but very nice. He didn't seem too excited...guess he was exhausted. But anyways, I got an autograph, and also a picture with Michael, but I really have to search for it. But that was a good night.
