Lost in what brings me life Im torn between existence and living Selfish is not your self conception But its behind every word you spit at my face As you destroy your own existence You cause damage to my being With no recollection of your spiteful actions I want you to pause, rewind and play it over in your mind As I do each and every night I fall asleep to your anger and aggression You drive yourself to insanity But you have no idea of the pain you put me through Every move monitered Every word analysed Judged and labelled My secrets and lies hide what makes my heart smile I step into each day for a brighter tomorrow But yesterdays feelings wash into the days that become weeks This hell you put me through As you hang shame over my head Then dare to call me your daughter.
