I just Experienced Michael Mania!

Okay hey guys! Guess what!!!! Acouple of days ago I went to a record store and bought Thriller for (Pause for dramatic affect plus the price will blow your mind) 4 dollars. You heard me, 4 dollars. Not 40 or 400 or 4000 just 4 measly dollars! Lucky me right? Well here's the thing, I was born in 1998 so I didn't get to experience Michael Mania as it was happening in 1982, (Cause of my dumb mom!!!),but I went next door to our neighbor's house who just happened to be haveing a garage sale tomorow. My mom saw this huge radio thingy and said... well I'll just play out the scene for you:
Mom: Hey Jean? Is that huge stereo thing a record player?
Me:(Big huge devious grin. kinda likde Michael's when he gets excited)
Jean: Yup. I thought I'd get rid of it cause the grandkids don't treat it properly and we don't have any records. We just use the radio part of it.
Mom: I was just wondering because Laila got Thriller a couple of days ago and we were lookin' for one of those. Does it work?
Jean: Oh Yes absolutely! (To me) Why don't you take it over there and see if it will play?
Me: SURE!!! (Runs over to it excitedly and picks it up.

So I get home and I realize....I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING.
So I run all the way back to Mrs. Jeans house and say:
Me: You guys, you do realize that I was born in 1998 right?
Both of them:(Laughing)
Jean:Well come on and let's see whats wrong huh?

We walk back to my house and come to find out that the only problem was that I didn't take the cap off of the needle.
My mom left to meet my stepdad somwhere so they could talk or whatever and she left me to listen to my album. When Thriller came on I went apewall!!!! I screamed and sang every word and every thing and I ran around the house going absolutely crazy!
Then when Lady in My Life came on...I realized why almost every woman fell in love with Michael because of his abillity to make you hear his song and think he's singing it to you. His smooth vocals made me just melt.I felt like I was living in 1982!!!!
