Complicated Love....Part 3

Once again, for those that don't know....this is the continued part to Do I Know You? Nothing much more to say....Enjoy!!

We went home and told the family about our happy news. I was pregnant and we were getting married. Michael and I were starting a family. I couldn't believe it. Michael gave me quite a shock later that day. It all occured when we were watching a movie on the couch.

Michael: Angie, how's your mom?
Me: Oh, um, I don't know. Haven't spoken to her in a while.
Michael: A while meaning 5 years?
Me: Yeah, I guess so.
Michael: Can you do me a favor?
Me: I have a feeling I know what you're gonna ask....But go on...?
Michael: I just want you to speak with your mom. Get in touch. I think she would be happy to hear you are starting a family of your own. Pretty please?
Me: But....we haven't spoken in so long. She hates me.
Michael: She's your mom. She loves you and it would mean the world to her if you called.
Me: Okay, fine.

I dialled her number that night and waited for it to go to voicemail. A raspy woman's voice answered.

Woman: Hello?
Me: Hi is Miss. Marcheline Porter there?
Woman: This is her.
Me: Oh. Hi mom, it's me, Angelina.
Mom: Angie? Baby is that you?
Me: Yes it is. I have some news.
Mom: I heard you've been seeing .....umm Mitchell Johnson?
Me: Michael Jackson, ma.
Mom: Oh that's it. How is it?
Me: Well, i'm pregnant and we're getting married.....(Holds breath).....I mean, we only found out both today.
Mom: ..........
Me: Sorry mom. I've really missed you.
Mom: Oh honey! I've missed you too! I'm so excited!! I'm gonna be a nanna!!
Me: Yeah you will. Why don't you come down soon? We'll have a family get together...how bout it?
Mom: I'd love it. See you later. Love you.
Me: Love you, bye.

I smiled and danced on the spot. I ran to Michael and gave him a big kiss.

Me: Thankyou soo much!!
Michael: Go good?
Me: Went great!
Michael: Awesome. Well, let's get to bed.

We went to sleep and over the next couple of months things went by casually. We started buying clothes, and toys and prams etc. Michael declared that he's working on a new album. During one of my bad days (mood swings!) I had a go at Michael for working when our baby will be born in a few months. His response?

Me: Michael! You can't work on an album! We're starting a family!!
Michael: I'll just do it on the side. Family first, babe I promise.
Me: Hmph.
Michael: Want some chocolate? I bought a new block today.

Did I mention chocolate was my ultimate craving during my pregnancy?
