Dreaming of You, Like Always (Part 16)
Hey guys! I'd like to dedicate this part to aNoNyMoUs ReAdEr for getting ppl 2 vote 4 my story & Michael Joseph Jackson. ENJOY!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------- My mind felt like it just exploded. Michael is MOVING?! He can't be serious! I could of said SO many different responses to him but this is what i decided to say. Me: *saying* Wha? *thinking* I sound like an idiot. Michael: Yup i'm moving to L.A. Me: B-But why? Michael: I need to be with my kids. I haven't seen them for over a year. Me: I guess you're right. Michael: I know its gonna be hard for our relationship but i have to be with them. Me: No no you're absolutely right. Not only do you need to see your kids but they need to see you. I can't blame you for anything there. Michael: I'm really sorry, Alicia. Me: You have nothing to apologize for. I bet its hard to be away from them for so long. Michael: *starts crying* You have no idea! I never really realized how much this man loved his kids. It was really sweet & his kids must have the best father in the world. Me: Michael, you have every right to see your children & i promise not to hold you back no matter how much i want you. Michael: I promise to visit every once in a while. Unless... *pauses* No never mind. Me: What? Michael: Its a stupid idea. Me: Come on tell me! Michael: Ok well i was thinking what if you moved to California too? I didnt answer right away. It shocked me that he would think of that. But it was great idea too. By the way he looked at me made me think that he thought that i was thinking that he was some freak. Did you catch that? Michael: *looks away* Told you it was stupid. Me: Mike its not a stupid idea. Its BRILLIANT. Michael: It is? Me: Absolutely. Ive lived with my grandparents my whole life, basically, & i need to see the other half of the country also. But there is one thing that i request. Michael: Anything. Me: I'm gonna have my own place. He looked startled when i said that i wanted my own place to live in. I can guess why. I think. Michael: Are you sure? Me: Ya, i mean i've never had my own place by myself & i don't wanna rush anything between us cuz i think that then we might regret it later you know? I'm not saying that we're gonna break up but i don't want things to go down hill if we do move in together. Michael: Ya i understand. Me: Ok good. Michael: So you're moving to California with me? Me: Yes. Michael: Then its settled. No turning back right? Me: *smiles* No turning back. Michael: How are you gonna tell your family? Me: *shrugs* I'll figure it out. I get up & Michael is already dressed but i'm not. He wraps his arms around me (i'm still naked, SO SCANDALOUS RIGHT!) & we kiss passionately. When he starts kissing my neck i had to speak up (its not like i didnt like it!) Me: Michael, we can't again i'm feeling kinda sore. Michael: *sigh* Alright. Me: I have to get dressed anyways. Michael: UGH! Fine. Mike handed me my dress & i put it on. I pulled my hair back & put on my shoes. While i was getting ready i kept thinking of ways on how to tell my family & friends that i was moving to L.A. I know that every way was gonna get me in trouble. And the one thing that is REALLY bothering me was how i was gonna tell them about what happened while i was here. Its not gonna be a pretty sight. Especially when Papa threatens to kill Michael. Mike & i take a cab to Papa & Nana's & we go up. I wanted to go as slowly as possible to avoid this entire conversation but i had to be the one to start it. Great. KNOCK KNOCK Charlie: *answers door* Oh hey guys! Me: What are you doing here, Charlie? Charlie: Came to get some lunch. Why didn't you come in last night? Me: That's what i need to talk to you about. Charlie: *looks at Michael* Ok? He lets us in & i already know that he's suspicious of Michael. Oh great, Nana is here too. Nana: There you are, Alicia! Where have you been! Me: At Mike's place. Nana: Were you there... all night? Me: Y-Ya. Nana & Charlie look at each other making sure that they were both hearing this right. Charlie: Why? Me: Cuz i forgot to come home. That was the truth. Nana: *confused* How could you forget to come home? Charlie: Ya that's like saying forgetting to use the restroom. I looked over at Michael & gave him a look that said "help me out here" & he nodded & finally started talking. Michael: Well the truth is that she got jealous cuz i brought Kelz to the party. Which made Alicia think that Kelz was my girl friend. Which isn't true at all. So we cleared the air & you'll never guess... we're dating now! There were gasps from all three of us. I gasped cuz hearing Mike say that i was JEALOUS made me FURIOUS. But i can't change what he said cuz he already said it! Nana: But how! Michael: Well... how do i say this... we made love last night. N & C (mostly Charlie): YOU WHAT?!?! Michael: Yup. Nana: Alicia, is this true? Me: *uncomfortable* Ya. This is awkward. Nana gave me a look that said "im very disappointed in you, Alicia" while Charlie gave Michael a look that said "im gonna kill you." Charlie: *gritting his teeth* Anything else. Me: Ya one more thing. Charlie: WHAT? Me: Im moving to California... with Michael. N & C (mostly Nana): YOU'RE WHAT?!?! Me: Look i needed to move out soon anyways. And i feel that its the perfect time to. I mean ive lived with you & Papa for practically my entire life, & Michael needs to be with his kids so this is my chance to go out into the world by myself! Nana: So youre gonna live together?! Me: No im having my own place, Michael's having his. Charlie leaves the apartment & slams the door behind him. He was pissed. Me: I'm gonna go talk to him. N & M: Good luck. I run out of the apartment & follow the overpowering scent of Charlie's cologne. I find him in a storage closet at the far end of the floor level. Me: Hey Charlie. Charlie: Hey. Me: Can i come in? Charlie: Is that what Mike said to you? Me: No. Charlie: *mutters* Doubt it. Me: Listen, Charlie, Mike wasn't sure about doing it with me but I told him that i was ready, which i was. Don't blame Michael for this. Charlie: Im willing to kill myself for you, Alicia. Me: What? Charlie: You know i love you. I've always loved you. It kills me to know that i can't have you. Especially since you don't have the same feelings for me. Me: I do love you, Charlie. Charlie: Not the way i do. *pause* Alicia, if you move to California i'll kill myself. I knew that he was telling the truth. He never jokes around with things like that. Me: *sits next to him* Please dont do that. Charlie: I will, Alicia. You know i will. Me: I'll do anything, besides not moving, if you stay alive. Charlie: Theres nothing that i can think of. *stands up* I knew that i had to think quickly on my feet & i knew that it couldn't be sex. But there was an alternative. Me: Charlie wait! Charlie: *turns around* Me: K-Kiss me. Charlie: What? Me: You heard me. Kiss me. Without hesitation, Charlie walks right up to my face, lifts up my chin & kisses me. It was not even CLOSE to a peck. The weird thing was, i was kissing back. I even wrapped my arms around his neck. When we pulled back after what seemed like 30 seconds, he kissed me again. There was a lot of passion in the second kiss. How was i gonna tell Michael what happened? ---------------------------------------------------------------- What did you think! I hope you liked it! BTW i "borrowed" the idea from Twilight with the use of Alicia telling Charlie to kiss her. I know that's copying but i thought it'd be a good idea! I hope you thought this part was interesting!
