Do I Know You?....Part 16

This is dedicated to Shanice, I saw you posted a comment to my story and I couldn't reply at the time (Lonnggg story lol!). Thankyou for liking my story!

Me: Oh my god is she okay?
Michelle: It isn't looking good.
Me: (Gets really sad) Poor Lisa.
Michelle: Yeah. What am I gonna do?
Me: Andrew?
Michelle: Oh that son of a bitch? He quit. 
Me: Oh.
Michelle: Pwease???
Me: But she had the questions!
Michelle: I'll give you a pay rise?

I watched as red-haired Michelle was sitting on the edge of my receptionist table with her black eyeliner running down her face. I heard a knock on the office door. That's probably Cyndi Lauper now!

Michelle gives me a pleading look. "Okay!" I snap. I'm not a good interviewer. I stutter, I can't come up with good questions on the spot, I'm terrible.

So I interview Cyndi. It was okay, I mean, she understood the situation with Lisa. But still, it was kinda awkward and I was totally nervous. She left not soon after, and, it was recorded. That's Real! magazine also released the interview for the whole world to hear on tape. Damn!

Michael called the next day.

Me: Hi.
Michael: Hey long time no talk. Heard you on the radio this morning.
Me: Oh no.
Michael: C'mon, you were really good.
Me: You think?
Michael: Yes! Oh i'm going to this thing tomorrow night.
Me: Is it that Mowtown 25th anniversary thing?
Michael: Yep....and I was wondering if you'd like to be my.....date.
Me: Oh, of course. Sounds like fun. Are you performing?
Michael: Yeah with my brothers. You can hang out with my sisters when we're on stage.
Me: Cool! I'm so excited. 
Michael: We'll pick you up tomorrow night at around 5:30pm. Bye.
Me: See ya hun.

I get excited at the fact that Michael wanted me to be his date. I wonder what i'm going to wear...SHHHIIITTT! What am I gonna wear?!
