Do I Know You?....Part 6

I've had a lot of time to write, but this will be my last part for today :)

I started shaking....I couldn't believe it! Michael and Jess might have used to...(shudders). He must still love her!

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. What do I do? Do I tell him? Do I tell her? Do I keep it my secret?

I walked out of the bathroom with the intention of keeping it quiet. I sat down and Michael walked in.

Michael: Can I have your number? I need it because I might want to do an interview with this magazine again. Do you have a mobile?
Me: Um I don't have a number. I mean mobile. I mean, I don't have a mobile phone.
Michael: Oh. That's a first.
Me: Yes?
Michael: Just usually girls would go crazy at the idea of asking for their number. (Smiles)
Me: Oh. (Smiles too)

He sits back in the leather lounge and I think of trying something. I dial his number under my desk to make sure it's him. His phone rings the Thriller tone. He looks up at me in embarrassment.

Me: (Laughs) Your own song?
Michael: (Blushes and laughs) Um yeah. Hello?

I hang up and watch his reaction.

Michael: (Looks at Caller ID) Jess?

Michelle walks in and motions for me to say goodbye. We walk towards Michael and although he's standing up, he's facing the opposite direction with HIS PHONE TO HIS EAR. My phone starts ringing. He turns around and gives me a look. I can't really describe it. It was a mix of disgust, hurt, betrayal, shock. I cringed at the expression.

Me: Michael, I-
Michael: Goodbye Michelle. Thankyou for the interview. Angelina. (Nods and walks off)

I lied to him about not having a phone and made Michael feel stupid. I feel like a total idiot.
