Do I Know You?....Part 1

SMASH!! My phone went flying to the ground. Dereck stomped into the bedroom with an evil smile plastered to his face. I shakily gathered the pieces and got into my car. I'm going to Jess' s house. At least there I feel safe. I tried starting my car. It stuttered and gave up instantly. "Come on!" I was crying now. This was the worst night of my life.

Dereck walked out of the house with a smoke, slowly, as I tried again to start my non-moving car. I only just noticed a black heavy square in his grubby hands. My car battery.

I gained some courage and got out of the car. I slammed the door. Maybe if I was loud enough, the neighbours would call the cops.

Me: Hand it over, Dereck.
Dereck: Why should I? You obviously don't care about anyone but yourself, selfish little bi***. 
Me: What are you talking about?
Dereck: You haven't bothered to have sex with me yet. Maybe I should use some force, because I'm sick of being the nice guy.
Me: That was your nice guy act?
Dereck: I know. I'm gonna miss him.
Me: Dereck, think about what you're doing.
Dereck: I'm sick of thinking, it's time to be spontaneous.

He starts walking over and I know what's about to follow. So I scream. It was a few seconds before I felt his rough, blistered hand close over my mouth and one pin my hands together. I suddenly feel the heat from his smoke make contact in the hollow base of my collarbone. I frantically twitch and jerk as the pain sets in. I watch, thankfully, as Jess and her husband Leon pull up. Thank god.

Leon: HEY! LET GO OF HER DERECK!
Jess: Oh my god!

Dereck jumps back and gets into his car. I watch as he desperately tries to find his keys. I cringe as Leon walks over to Dereck and bashes him until he is knocked out. Jess calls the cops and Dereck is arrested with the charge of Domestic Abuse. He has to spend five years in jail. Good riddance.
