i have my reasons. I will 
write the next part of Our 
Thing in time but I really 
wanted to get this one 
completed. Anyways, this

Julie had finally broken 
the news to Melanie that 
her father wasnt dead 
but was really a 
cowardice bastard. "The 
nerve of that woman to 
only tell me now," 
Melanie said aloud. 
People gave her stares 
and she only 
remembered then that 
she was in a desert shop. 
"Who? Why? Tell me 
what happened." a voice 
said behind her. It was 
none other than Michael. 
"Boy, you're so nosy." 
Melanie said shaking her 
head smiling. "Im your 
part time shrink, 
remember?" Michael 
joked.  "So what brings 
you here? What 
happened to the 
recording studio? Did you 
decide to burn the place?
" Melanie asked with a 
small laugh. That was the 
first time Michael noticed 
she was kinda cute. 
"Marlon did." Michael said 
with a killer smile. Just 
ask her and quit telling 
her Marlon jokes! He 
thought to himself. "I 
know you stressed out 
thanks to Fabio and Julie 
alone, so I thought 
maybe you would want 
to go out sometime. 
Maybe tonight." Michael 
said looking everywhere 
but at her. "L-L-Like a 
date?" she asked. "No! A 
date?!" Michael said 
laughing nervously. 
Melanie gave him a look. 
"Okay fine, like a date." 
Michael said. "cool. As in 
its a yes." she said 
casually trying not to give 
away her excitement. 
Michael smiled at her. "Ill 
pick you up at 8."
