My True MJ Story Part II
This is the dream part of my MJ story. The first part was true and very real. This second part is what I envisioned what might have happened had I at sometime just spoke to him.The last time I saw Michael, he was in the car with his mother Katherine and his older sister Rebbie. We encountered each other at the intersection near Balboa Park... I had no idea where they were coming from or going to but Michael was looking very bored. I saw them as Mrs. Jackson advanced for the green light. Michael looked to his right and his face lit up. He had recognized my car and he gave me the warmest smile. Rebbie was craning her neck to see what had caught Michael's attention. He then waved at me and I signaled to him to ask his mom to pull over. I did not know if it would work but I took a chance. To my surprise, I saw the brown mercedes pull over to the curb on the back side of the park. Although I was in the far lane, it was my good fortune that the rest of the lanes were clear and I quickly veer over and pull up behind them. I get out of the car and walk toward Mrs. Jackson's mercedes. Michael rolls down the window where he is sitting and he is not afraid. At this point, I know he trusts me to not maul him or be too agressive in any way. I lean in and say hello not only to Michael but to Rebbie and Mrs. Jackson as well. Michael reaches out to shake my hand and he asks me what my name is. I tell him and he asks me why I didn't get out of the car to talk to him at Gelson's market the week before. I tell him that I was very unsure of what to do at the time and most importantly, I did not want him to think that I was a "groupie". I tell him that I just wanted to meet him in a normal situation and get to know him. Michael is pleased with my response and is intrigued. He asks me is it okay if he calls me and of course I say yes. Rebbie reaches from the back to give him something to write with and I give him my number. I write it as big as I can so that he won't misread any numbers. I also remind him to not misplace the paper because I really want him to call. We say goodbye and as the car pulls off, Mrs. Jackson and Rebbie are excited for Michael. They are glad that he has met a girl who seems like a mannerable young lady and who is really attractive too. I am very excited myself and my heart feels as if it is going to explode. I know without a doubt we will establigh some type of a relationship. I have enough confidence to think that Michael is romantically attracted to me but enough humility to think that our relationship could turn out to be just platonic. That very night Michael calls. It is about 1:00 a.m. and he apologizes for waking me up. Little does he know is that I was not quite asleep as I had been having trouble getting to sleep anticipating his call. What a lovely time for him to call I think. I am at home, cozy in my bed. with the rest of the world at rest and with all the time in the world to talk to Michael Jackson; not the superstar, but Michael Jackson from Gary, Indiana. We talk over the encounters that led to us meeting. He understands why I had not approached him previously but he tells me that he wanted me to come and talk to him so badly. What he says next is a surprise to me. He says that the day we were in the parking lot of the market, he had saw my car and follwed me there. I tell him that another reason for me not apprroaching was because he had Janet with him and she didn't appear to welcoming. He laughs and tells me that Janet is a firecracker and is over-protective of him. I tell him that I understand it is to be expected but nevertheless her presence was intimidating and it was important to me that not only he like me but his family too. Our conversation leads us to talk more about me. Michael is interested in learning about me. He wants to know where I live, what I do for a living, where I went to school and about my friends and family. He wants to talk about me and not so much him. We end our conversation around 3:00 a.m. because I am getting extremely sleepy but before doing so, Michael reveals to me that he will be leaving to go on tour the next day. He is everything I thought he was and he has permanently captured my heart. On the inside, I am disappointed because I want to continue getting to know him but I know I have to roll with it. He does ask me to come over to the Hayvenhurst house later in the day after I wake up and I tell him that I would love to.He asks me to come around 2:00 p.m. After getting some sleep, my mind starts preparing myself for visiting with Michael. What am I going to wear? What will I do with my hair? I am concerned with my outer appearance because I am sure of my inner being. I am going to be myself and I believe that Michael is someone I should have known. He was the guy who could have easily lived in my neighborhood, went to school with me or a son of friends of my parents. To me literally, the was the boy next door. I choose to wear a pair of Levi shorts and a white, v-neck t-shirt. I put on silver pair of sandals and my platinum loop earrings. My hair is to my shoulder blades and it is full of silky, bouncey curls. I look in the mirror and I look great. I am very meticulous and I am showing just enough skin and enough of my figure to entice Mike but not put him off. My caramel brown skin is smooth and glowing. I top my look off with a little mascara and a peachy lip gloss. As I give myself a final look in the mirror I wonder if Michael will notice the mole above my lip? I get in my car and travel down to the San Fernando Valley and to the Jackson home. I am so excited to see Michael and I am hopeful. I turn on Hayvenhurst Dr. and finally reach the front gate of the estate. I have no fear as I ring the bell at the black iron gates. My only hope is that Michael remembered to tell the guards he was expecting me at 2:00. When I give them my name the electronic gates open and so does another chapter to this story.
