The year is 1988, the worse year of my life. First, my dad dies, 
then I'm just now finding out I'm moving to California. What the 
hell is there in California for me? Ohio isn't that bad. Living 
with my mom hasn't been the easiest. Every since my dad died, all 
she does is cry. I never cried, well I did at the funeral, but 
that was it. She says I'm so inconsiderate, but I don't think I 
am...am I?

It was moving day. I walked around my house, in circles over and 
over again; just staring at the blank walls. I didn't wanna go at 
all. That was the only home I knew. The only home I grew up in. I 
had my first birthday there, my first christmas. I can't just let 
those feelings go like that. I'm only 9, why does a person like 
me at my age feel so much stress? My thoughts were interrupted by 
my mom beeping her horn. I glanced around my house once more, 
walked out, and locked the door. "Goodbye house" I said to myself 
and got in the car.

Mom:You ready?
Me:Nope, I don't understand why we have to move.
Mom:I told you baby, my job moved and we have to start a new 
life. Please try to cope baby.(kisses my forehead)
Me:Lets just go.
Mom:(looks at me and starts the car)
Me:Oh yeah. Why does Craig get to stay?
Mom:Because, he's going to go live with his dad.
Me:Not fair.(crosses my arms)

Bullshit, my brother gets to stay with his crackhead dad, well 
his not a real crackhead, but you get it. This is just bull, 
uggh. All of this moving, for a damn job. Screw that, she should 
of just got a new one and we wouldn't be in this position. I 
don't even wanna look at her right now. I'll just sleep until we 
get to our new home.
