Dreaming of You, Like Always (Part 2)
Hey guys! Its me! BTW, after this part, i wont be able to write again until about a week later cuz i'll be out of town spending time with family. I just wanted to give you the heads up so you wouldnt think that i would stop writing this story. Id like to dedicate this part to mjsite and Michael Jackson. ENJOY!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------- 1 week later...Charlie & I went back to Miami a few days ago after i placed flowers at the Jackson home. I was still buzzed about MJ "faking the death" thing that i read. I mean, i am SO excited but also confused. Papa noticed my perplexed face so he came to talk to me. Anything the matter? Me: No, im fine. Papa: Alright if you say so. *turns then turns back* Oh! Your boss called & said you need to go into work in about an hour. Me: Ok Papa. Thank you. I got ready to go into work & when i got there i had to get into my "DJ mood" My boss, Roger, was the most outgoing person i ever knew. Thats because he was drunk most of the time i saw him. But he's the only person who can handle being drunk. Roger: Hey Alicia! Whats going up? Me: Oh everything's fine. You? Roger: Great! I feel like great! Me: Cool! Roger: Well, you better get to djing here! You think you can handle it? Me: Yes sir! Roger: All right! Well, over and out! Me: Roger that! We: *laugh* Me: *puts on headphones* Hey y'all! It's DJ Alicia here! And its 8 o'clock on July 14th! We got a good line up of songs coming to you in just a second and we're kicking it off with Paparazzi by Lady Gaga! After the song played a caller came in & i had to answer it. Me: Hey we have a caller in! Youre listening to Party 93.1 with DJ Alicia! Whats your name? ???: I'm uhh...Davey. Me: Hey Davey how are you doing tonight! Davey: Good. Me: No, i said HOW ARE YOU DOING! Davey: GREAT Me: Thats more like it! So any song you wanna request Davey? Davey: Ya um, You Are Not Alone by Michael Jackson. Davey requested my favorite MJ song & i was speechless for a minute. Me: Uh sure sure. You heard him folks! Were gonna slow things down a bit with You Are Not Alone by the one and only King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I played the song & i hummed every word & i could feel a tear run down my cheek. This song meant the world to me & for someone to request THIS song was the best. Once my turn was over Roger came to talk to me. Roger: Good show tomorrow, Alicia! Me: Thanks Roger! Roger: Hey you've done a great job doing this DJing thing for 18 years. Me: I havent worked here for more than 6 years. Roger: Oh ya. Well, for all of your hard work i'm giving you an all expense-payed trip to Ireland. Me: ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Roger: Serious as a heart attack. Me: Oh my God thank you Roger! *hugs him* Roger: You know, if you wanna take somebody with you, i wouldnt mind going. Me: *lets go* Roger: Im just kidding! Me: Oh ok! I thought you were serious for a minute. Roger: Have you ever known me to be serious? Me: You got a point there. Roger: Where? Me: Never mind. Thanks again Roger. Youre the best. Roger: So ive been told. I leave & drive home to my place with Nana & Papa. I am SO excited to go to Ireland! Just me myself & i in a beautiful country. And the best thing is that ALL EXPENSES PAYED!!! I go up in front of the reception & i'm SO excited to tell Charlie. Me: CHARLIE! Charlie: God! You scared me! Me: Sorry, but i am just SO excited! Charlie: Why? What happened? Me: Well, i get to go to Ireland ALL expenses payed! Charlie: Get outta here! Thats awesome! Me: I know! Charlie: Are you going on vacation or something? Me: Sorta but it was a bonus from work. Charlie: Thats cool. Taking anyone? He's implying himself. Me: I dunno. Would you like to come? Charlie: I'd love to! I thought you would never ask! Me: Thats because i wasnt going to! Charlie: What! Me: I'm just messing with you Charlie. Charlie: Ok when are we going? Me: I dunno. Any time that works i guess. Charlie: Sounds good. Well i gotta get back to work. We'll talk about the details later. Me: Ya definitely. See you later. I went up to my room & was eager to tell Nana & Papa. Me: NANA! PAPA! I'm home! Nana: Hi darling! How was work? Me: Fine. But guess what! Nana: Uh what? Me: Guess! Nana: You won a poker game? Me: No, i get to go to Ireland! All expenses payed! Papa: Whats going on? Me: Papa! Papa: Hi pumpkin! Anything wrong? Nana: *not excited* She gets to go to Ireland on an all expense payed trip. Papa: Ohhh. Me: Isnt it exciting! Nana: Well... Me: What? Papa: Alicia, we don't want you going to Ireland. Me: Why not? ---------------------------------------------------------------- What did you think! That part was slow but i'm building up the part. I hope you can wait a week until i start up the story again! PLZ VOTE I would like 10 at the least. BYE!!!
