Airriel: Heâ?¦..he passed away last night Me: (my jaw dropped open my eyes instantly filled with tears) â?¦..r you serious? Airriel: Yeahâ?¦.the funeral is next week Tuesday alright..umâ?¦â?¦Iâ??m gonna call your mother and tlk to her Me: (I hung up) â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦. (I got up and walked away crying) Valary: Mom? Me: (I walk upstairs, go into my room and sit on the bed crying) (I laid down on my side as tears were falling like crazy) â?¦â?¦â?¦ Michael: (wlks inside) Hi Valary (smiles) how are you today Valary: goodâ?¦..umâ?¦â?¦. Michael: Whereâ??s your mom? Valary: â?¦upstairs crying Michael: Is she alright Valary: Iâ??m not sure but whatever it is sheâ??s really upsetâ?¦â?¦. Michael: stay down here for a whileâ?¦. (he goes upstairs) Baby? (walks into our room) Babyâ?¦.what happened? Me: (I buried my face in a pillow) go away Michael: (he sits down next to me) not tell you talk to meâ?¦ Me: (I unbury my face) my dadâ?¦â?¦. Michael: What about him Me: heâ?¦heâ?¦â?¦passed away Michael: Really? Sweetheart Iâ??m so sorry (he rubs my back) Me: (I sit up and hug him) Michael: (he hugs me) Iâ??m sry babyâ?¦ Me: (I donâ??t say anything but I stare into the mirror) â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦ A few hours have passed, we told Valary what happened, she was so upset to hear what happened, her grandpa and her were always so close. I was so close to my dad, weâ??d always do everything together, fish, work on school projects, draw, and so much more!!! Iâ??m going to miss him sooooo much!! A few days have gone by over those days, I havenâ??t been the same, I wasnâ??t energetic, really talkative, or even in the mood to do anything. My friends and my whole family wanted to talk to me, but when I was upset I always shut myself away from the world. i woke up to the alarm. Me: (I roll over to hit the alarm) 6 a.mâ?¦. Michael: (mumbling something) Me: Michaelâ?¦â?¦â?¦..Michael (I shook him) Wake up! Michael: noâ?¦â?¦â?¦.5 more minutes Me: Michael! (I hit him in the face with a pillow) get up!! (I get out of bed and walk down to Valaryâ??s room to wake her up) Michael: (he gets out of bed) â?¦â?¦.6 a.mâ?¦. what is today? Ohâ?¦Tuesday Me: Valary wake upâ?¦.weâ??ve gotta get going Valary: (opens her eyes) â?¦wat day is it? Me: Tuesdayâ?¦. Valary: Ohâ?¦â?¦..(she gets up out of bed) Iâ??ll be down in 5 Me: Okay (I walk back into the bedroom and grab my clothes Michael is already changed, I grabbed my clothes for today and changed in the bathroom, I fixed my hair did my make up, brushed my teeth the usual) Michael: you ready? Me: (I walk out of the bathroom and give Michael the sad look of â??Noâ?¦I will never be readyâ?) Michael: you guys are going to have to have a closerâ?¦â?¦ Me: I knowâ?¦â?¦ Michael: Come on letâ??s get going, Valary! Valary: Comin!! (she walked out of her room) â?¦.okayâ?¦.letâ??s go We headed out to one of the limos, we left. We didnâ??t get to the church until 7:45. I saw everyone from when I grew up some ppl I didnâ??t remember even though they were at my wedding. We sat in the front near the isle, tears were slowly running down my face, I didnâ??t know how my own father passed away! Michael: (grabs on to my hand and holds it tightly) (he has his other arm around Valary) Valary: (hiding her face in Michaelâ??s side) Me: (sitting there looking at the floor) â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦ David: (wlks up to me and kneels down next to me) â?¦â?¦ (he kisses me on my forehead) â?¦.dadâ??s in a better place (he gets up and wlks back to his seat near my mother) My mother and I grew apart about 3 years after Michael and I have been married; she developed cancer, and she didnâ??t want me in her life anymore, she said fame went straight to my head. Which it hasnâ??t Iâ??ve gotten used to everything, the media, and the paparazzi! Whatever stood in my way I didnâ??t let it bother me. As soon as the music stopped, the priest spoke a few words and after that my fathers casket was being walked down the isle as everyone stood up. I watched in disbelieve that he was in that very casket. Me: (Whispering so quietly) bye daddyâ?¦â?¦â?¦I luv youâ?¦â?¦â?¦.. (I tried to fight back the tears but it didnâ??t work) Michael: (puts his arm around me and holds me tightly) Me: (I wipe my eyes) Valary: (Crying) â?¦. Michael: (puts his other arm tightly around Valary) After that, we went to the cemetery. While we were on our way, my body felt so cold and so empty. I canâ??t believe that my dad the one I grew up with my whole life, and he always supported me, and always called me on nights and weekends to make sure I was okay, is gone. Everyone was so quiet at the cemetery, the only thing you could hear was my mom crying. The sky turned dark gray, and I heard a few distant rumbles of thunder in the distance. After my fatherâ??s burial, I was the last to leave. At home Me: (sitting down reading a book) Michael: (sits down next to me) â?¦â?¦â?¦. Me: Yes? (I continue reading my book) Michael: umâ?¦.. Next week Me: Yeah? (I look at him and close my book) Michael: Iâ??m working on another video Me: What video? Michael: â??Earth songâ? Me: Oh Michael: Can you come alongâ?¦ Me: Sure (I smiled) but what about Valary? Michael: My mother said sheâ??ll watch her Me: Okay About 3 months have gone by; Michael was getting an award at the MTV music video awards in 2 days, he has to do a little performance at the opening of the show. Today Valary and I are out shopping looking for something to wear to the MTV music video awards. Valary: Mom?! (yelling from inside the dressing room) Me: Yeah? (I walk up to her door) whats up Valary: I need a smaller sizeâ?¦.this one is too big Me: (I look at John) John: (gets up) on it (he wlks off to find a smaller size) Me: Uncle John will be back in a second Valary: Okay John: (wlks back) Okay here Me: (I grab it and hand it over the door for Valary) Valary: Thank you! John: anytime (he sits back down) Me: Iâ??m gonna go try mine on (I wlk into the dressing room next to her and close the door) you know this is like really nice having a whole store to yourself John: I know there isnâ??t any chaos like usual Me: I know! (I slip on this short red halter dress with a slit up one side of the leg) humâ?¦ (I twirl myself around in front of the mirror) I think I like this one Valary: Let me see! (she wlks out of her dressing room) let me see Me: okay, okay (I laughed and walked out of my dressing room) Valary: Wow! You look like a supermodel! John: You do! Have you ever thought about Modeling for clothes? Me: Umâ?¦.no I havenâ??t Johnâ?¦..My dad always told me I should, but I was always afraid to John: Why? You have the right body, youâ??re beautiful, and you would make a perfect model Valary: you would mom! You should Model Me: Alright enough!! I think about it (I walk back into my dressing room and change into my other clothes and wlk out) I think Iâ??ll get this, go get your dress Valary Valary: Okay (she wlks into her dressing room and grabs her dress off the hanger and wlks out) okay Iâ??m ready After we got what we needed we wlked out of the store millions of people were outside screaming and taking pictures I held Valary close until we got to the limo. When we got home i took mine and Valaryâ??s dressâ??s upstairs in my closet. Michael: (wlks in) So whatâ??d you get Me: (I jump and turn around) donâ??t scare me like that! Michael: Sorry (smiles) well whatâ??d you get today Me: Your gonna have to wait a couple days (I smiled) Michael: (fakes frowning) fine (he wlks over to me and puts his arm around my waist) Me: (I put my arms around his neck) Michael: (leans in and kisses me) Me: (I giggle) you havenâ??t done that in a while (I kiss him back) Michael: I know I havenâ??t (starts kissing me) Michael and I stood there for a few minutes kissing until we both heard a â??Eww!!â? our faces parted quickly and we saw Valary in our door way and we started laughing. Michael: Valary, canâ??t you give us some alone time (Smiles) Valary: yeah I will, but I had a question for you guys Me: Alright, what is it? Valary: Umâ?¦..can I have a slumber party tonight? Me: Who were you gonna invite? Valary: Caitlyn, Peyton, Hayden, Angel, Sarah, and Maria Me: If itâ??s okay with your dad itâ??s alright with me Valary: (looks at Michael) Michael: Of course! Whenâ??s everyone coming over? Valary: Umâ?¦how about 6? Me: Thatâ??s in 3 hours sure go call your friends Valary: Thank you guys!!! (she wlks down to her room with the phone already up to her ear) Michael and I were talking for a while, well we made John and Patrick set up the movie room for the girls to stay in. DING DONG Valary: I got it!! (runs downstairs and answers the door) Caitlyn, Hayden, and Angel: HI!!!!!! Valary: Hey guys! Come in! All 3: (wlk in) Angel: so is everybody else coming? Valary: Yup Sarah and Maria are coming together and Peyton should be here soon Caitlyn: Cool hey Hayden did you remember the pop? Hayden: (nods her head and points to her bag) Valary: are we gonna try to stay up all night or something Angel: Of course we are silly KNOCK KNOCK Valary: (opens the door) hey! Peyton: Hey Val (wlks in) hey guys! All: Hi! Hayden: (Writes something down on a piece of paper) â??Hey when do we get to meet your parents Valary?â? Valary: As soon as everyone gets here Hayden: â??Oh okayâ? Caitlyn: What are your parents like? Valary: Oh they are awesome! They are sooo laid back and really cool to hang out with Angel: wow a lot of parents are usually up tight and super strict Valary: I knowâ?¦.. KNOCK KNOCK Valary: (opens the door) hey Peyton! Peyton: Hi (smiles and wlks in) Valary: (closes the door) alright you guys want to meet my parents now? All: (nod their head really fast) Valary: Okay (yelling upstairs) MOM, DAD!!
