â??Good morning Juliaâ? Lacey waved sweetly passing by Julia â??Ugh for you it is hey Mr. Allen wants to see you in his officeâ? Julia said popping her gum Lacey wondered if she was going to be doing that the whole entire time she would be working here â??Thanks Iâ??ll head over there right nowâ? Lacey replied giving Lacey another smile, â??You do that sweetie why break your record of being on time for onceâ? Julia said giving an evil smirk. Lacey just sighed and headed to Mr. Allenâ??s office and knocked gently â??Yes please come inâ? Mr. Allen said from the other side of the door â??Hello Mr. Allen Julia said you wanted to see meâ? Lacey said sounding a bit nervous hoping she wasnâ??t in trouble. â??Ahh yes just wanted to give you this, its part of the uniform here at Lockwoodâ? Mr. Allen said handing Lacey a navy colored button up that read Lockwood Hotels above the right of the shirt.

â??Well thank you Mr. Allen anything else sirâ? Lacey asked holding the shirt close to her chest â??No Lacey thank you just put that on and youâ??re set to start your first day Julia is going to show you around the hotelâ? Mr. Allen said taking a seat back on his desk â??Oh greatâ? Lacey replied trying to sound sincere about being excited to be stuck with Julia the queen of excitement. Lacey made her first stop at the employee bathroom to change her blouse â??Well itâ??s a tight fit but Iâ??m not going to complainâ? Lacey said adjusting the buttons, Lacey hated the fact that she was a bit busty in the chest area but she couldnâ??t do anything about it except to just deal with it. Lacey walked back to the receptionist desk to find Julia trying to flirt with another male employee. Lacey smiled and cleared her throat â??Ugh buzzkill excuse me I got to goâ? Julia sending rolling her eyes and licking her lips at the male employee.

â??Well Mr. Allen told me to show you around so I guess youâ??re stuck with me for todayâ? Julia said flatly, â??Alright sounds great lead the wayâ? Lacey said with a laugh. â??Boy you are disgustingly chipper today arenâ??t youâ? Julia replied walking from the desk to show Lacey around the hotel. Lacey followed Julia everywhere trying her best not to fall over from boredom and not slap Julia from all the smart ass comments she made â??Last but not least this is the restaurant you have to close this up around 8:00 p.m. got it and guess what today your doing it so donâ??t forgetâ? Julia said popping her gum â??Ugh Iâ??m going to take that gum and stick it in her freaking hair if she pops it againâ? Lacey thought to herself smiling wickedly the whole time she did. â??Well I guess the tour is done head back to the front desk and stay there Iâ??m taking my breakâ? Julia said walking away.

â??Wait youâ??re leaving me alone already but this is barely my first dayâ? Lacey said beginning to panic â??Geez maybe youâ??ll learn something I canâ??t be holding your hand all day just deal with itâ? Julia said turning the corner. Lacey stood there biting her nails â??Okay you can do this just relax, be nice, and try not to panicâ? Lacey said taking a deep breath. Lacey held her head high and walked back to the front desk to find someone waiting for her already â??Hi Iâ??m Lacey how may I help youâ? Lacey said sweetly, â??Yes I have a room reserved under Nelsonâ? the man replied with a smile, â??Oh alright then let me see oh boy how do I do thisâ? Lacey said looking at the screen completely confused â??Sorry Iâ??m new and this is my first time doing thisâ? Lacey replied tapping the keys on the keyboard trying to find the manâ??s name on file.

Julia came back from break and sighed deeply â??Why am I not surprisedâ? Julia said tapping her nails on the desk, Lacey had a line of people waiting to get to their rooms. â??Julia oh thank God helpâ? Lacey squeaked out, â??Look Iâ??ll handle this but pay attention to what I do I wonâ??t show you againâ? Julia said coldly as she worked her fingers on the keys showing the names of the many people in the hotel rooms. Soon the chaos was over and Julia had taken care of every single person. The whole day Lacey placed closed attention to Julia even though she wasnâ??t the nicest woman on this planet she knew what she was doing. â??Hey newbie its 7:30 you should starting heading to that restaurant and closing it up got itâ? Julia said not taking her eyes of a magazine she was reading â??Sure alright thanks for helping me out earlier Juliaâ? Lacey said sweetly before leaving.

â??Whateverâ? Julia replied turning the pages of the magazine, Lacey gave a sigh and headed to the restaurant that looked empty. â??Thank God well at least its quietâ? Lacey said beginning to turn the lights off, then Lacey saw that there was a man sitting at a table alone looking a bit sad. â??Great now I gotta kick him outâ? Lacey said putting the towels she had in her hand aside and walking up to the man â??Umm sir Iâ??m sorry but Iâ??m closing up the restaurant nowâ?? Lacey said trying to get a good look at the man but he never looked up. â??Oh Jesus is he aliveâ? Lacey said reaching out her hand to poke them man but was startled when he moved â??Iâ??m sorry Iâ??ll leave but is it okay if I can stick around till your done back thereâ? the man pleaded still not making eye contact with Lacey. Lacey felt bad for him.

â??Okay why not sure but promise you wonâ??t make me regret itâ? Lacey replied with a stern voice, the ma nodded yes. Lacey turned to walk away â??Thank you Lacey Louâ? the man said sweetly, Lacey froze in her tracks. â??What you did you just call meâ? Lacey said turning around with a look of shock on her face â??I called you Lacey Louâ? the man answered finally lifting his head to reveal himself. Lacey rubbed her eyes â??Mikey Jâ? Lacey said hesitantly â??Thatâ??s me how are you Laceyâ? Michael said blushing, Lacey answered by running up to Michael, Michael lifted her up in the biggest hug ever. â??Yeah I missed you tooâ? Michael said with a giggle, Lacey couldnâ??t believe she broke into tears â??Michael Iâ??ve been waiting for this moment I canâ??t believe itâ??s you oh Iâ??ve missed youâ? Lacey said sweetly clutching on to Michael like if her life depended on it. Michael sighed boy did he miss her like crazy it was nice to hold her again.
