I Thought We Were Friends *7*

Heyy! Omg I kinda struggled with this part, but I got it done. I 
don't have much to say so here it goes yall! This is dedicated to 
Michael Jackson, lawwd you're soo sexy. MJSite, and my Ning

Me:(yelling from downstairs)Shanice, you ready yet?
Shanice:Just a sec mommy.
Mom:(sips her coffee)I swear every time I see that girl, she gets 
taller and taller.
Dad:Yeah, she's almost taller than you Samone.(laughs a little)
Me:I don't think so daddy.
Dad:At least we know where she didn't get her height from.
Mom:Will, stop it.
Dad:I'm just joking around with her Annette.
Mom:(pinches my cheeks)You are perfect the way you are. Yesh you 
are my little pumpkin.
Me:Eww, stop it.
Dad:(takes a bite)Samone, don't you think it's odd to be wearing 
shades in the house?
Me:(nervously)Um...well you see. I woke up this morning and 
um...my eyes were hurting so I put my shades on so they could get 
better...yeah.(laughs nervously then yells) Shanice hurry up.
Dad:(raises an eyebrow)Hmm.
Shanice:(comes down the stairs) What's the rush mommy?
Me:You were taking all day little lady, now lets go.
Mom:But what about breakfast?
Both:We'll just eat at bighead's
Mom:Aww, well tell Katherine I'll be over later for the party.
Me:Party? What party?
Mom:Oh, I forgot to tell you. Katherine's throwing a surprise 
party for Michael and the boys. They come back today from their 
Victory tour.
Shanice:Uncle Michael's coming back! Yay!
Me:(laughs)Well c'mon so we can go say hi to grandma Katie.
Shanice:Okay, bye grandma and grandpa.
Both:Bye sweetie.
Me:(opening the door)We'll be right back.

Shanice and I began heading over to the Jackson's. There were 
still some things I had to inform her about.

Me:Shanice baby, you do understand what's going on between daddy 
and me?
Shanice:I sorta do, but I don't understand why he hits you.
Me:Don't let it bother you. You just be a little girl like you're 
suppose to.
Shanice:So that means I can't talk to you about it?
Me:No, of course you can talk to me.
Shanice:(tearing up)It makes me sad mommy. What if daddy tries to 
hurt you again?
Me:He wont because we have lots of family here that will protect 
us.
Shanice:(smiles & wipes her tears) That makes me feel better.
Me:(smiles) Good. Shanice.
Shanice:Yes.
Me:Please don't say anything about this.
Shanice:I wont, I promise.
Me:(kisses her forehead)Thank you.

I really hope she will keep her promise. We were finally at the 
Jackson's doorstep. I was really excited to see momma and Janet, 
but Shanice was about to jump out of her pants. I ranged the door 
bell and waited for an answer. After a few moments, Janet 
answered the door.

Janet:(screaming) Samone, Oh my god you're here. I missed you.
Me:(giggles)Hi to you too Janet.
Janet:I haven't seen you in like 6 months. (grabs Shanice & hugs 
her) Oh I missed you too.
Shanice:Janet, you're gonna break my back.
Janet:(lets her go)I'm sorry. When did you get here?
Me:Last night.
Janet:Wow, we got a lot of catching up to do. Mother is going to 
be so happy to see you.(closes the door) Lets go to the kitchen 
and talk.

We all headed to the kitchen and waited for momma to come down. 
We talked and talked for hours and got caught up on 
everything....well, not EVERYTHING.

Later that day...

Momma:Okay everyone the boys are here. Janet, tell them that I 
need some help in the back.
Janet:Got it.(runs to the front)

Oh, I was soo excited to be seeing the boys again, but I was more 
so excited to see my long time bestfriend Michael. I haven't seen 
him in a year and we had a lot of catching up to do. Minutes 
later I seen Michael come out the slide door then, the rest 
started to follow. At the same time everyone popped up and yelled 
surprise. The expression on their faces were very dumbfounded, 
then they started smiling and laughing. While Michael was talking 
to someone, I snuck behind him and placed my hands over his eyes.

Me:Guess who?
Michael:Um..Brooke Sheilds?
Me:(giggles)No silly.
Michael:Diana Ross?
Me:No.
Michael:(smiles)I give up.
Me:(removes my hands)
Michael:(turns around)Samone!(picks me up and spends me around)I 
missed you.
Me:Put me down.(laughs)I missed you so much bighead.
Michael:Ssh, don't call me that in public. How are you?(hugs me 
tight)
Me:(lying)I'm great. You?
Michael:So much better that I see you.(peeks behind me)Who the 
little cutie behind you?
Me:(looks over my shoulder)Shanice, come out from behind me.
Shanice:Aww, I wanted to scare you. (hugs his waist)Hi, uncle.
Michael:(ruffles her hair)Hi, little one. How are you?
Shanice:Uh..I'm good.(smiles)
Michael:Lets catch up shall we.

It was so fun talking to Michael again. He shared with me a lot 
of things that went on during the tour. All was going well until 
an uninvited guest showed up. Ugh, why me?

Calvin:Samone, there you are. I've been looking all over for you.
Me:(fake smile)Hi Calvin.
Calvin:(motions his hand)Come here for a sec.
Me:(walks a little closer) Yes.
Calvin:(squeezes my arm and whispers in my ear)Bitch, you better 
be home tonight, or I will whoop your ass.(smiles) Shanice, hi 
baby.
Shanice:(ignores him)
Me:(hits her in the back and glares at her)
Shanice:(clears her throat)Hi daddy.
Calvin:Arent you gonna give me a hug?
Shanice:(looks at me with a worried look)
Me:(smiles to reassure her)
Shanice:(hugs him)Hi daddy.
Calvin:Hey babygirl.(looks up)Oh hi Michael.(holds his hand out)
Michael:(nods his head)Hello. Woow Samone you two've been 
together for a long time.
Me:(looks down)Mhm.
Michael:(frowns)Samone, you okay?
Calvin:(gives me a stern look)
Me:(gulps)I'm fine.(trying to crack a smile)
Calvin:Well, I'm gonna go now. See you tonight Samone.(kisses my 
forehead)
Me:(looks down)
Calvin:Bye baby.
Shanice:Bye daddy.
Calvin:Nice seeing you Michael.
Michael:Yup.

After he left, I wasn't even in the mood to have fun anymore. I 
went home early, but Shanice asked could she stay a little 
longer. Boy, what a night to come.
