Doctor's orders Chapeter 1

♥Hello there people it's me Jennell again with a new story until I get ideas for clueless so enjoy..♥

It's Febuary 12th 1979.My names Jennell Mendez(not real last name)I live just outside Encino Cali.I live by myself but keep in touch with the family.I always make friends with my patients gotta keep it a friendly enviorment at the E.R anyways..it is way busy in the hospital..Im a Nurse at Encino General Hospital(fake)I've been running back and fourth though rooms helping patients,my energey is way low forgot to get my cup of coffee before work..I run up to the front desk to get another patients paper work..

Me:hey Louise who I got now?(leaning over the desk)
Louise:well someone by the name Mr.Jackson first name Michael(smiling)
Me:why he here
Louise:hurry off now(shoving me away)

Michael...Jackson why in the world would he be here at a hospital it can't be nothing that serious I hope..I used to love him when I was younger...I hurry to the room and outside I see what looks to be his brothers and maybe his dad..I walk into the room and there is Michael Jackson sitting on a hospital bed with one platform shoe on and one off I couldn't help but laugh but I didn't

Me:what seems the problem?
Michael:well I was rehearsing and I was doing my thing across the floor and tripped over my brother microphone cord and with these shoes on I slipped and I think I twisted my ankle
Me:(looking through the desk)well no need for a doctor your foot should be alright..
Michael:see this would of never happened if Joe would of lets us pratice in regular shoes
Joe:you know boy you always make me seem like im the bad person when I'm not ma--
Katherine:Joe thats enough go in the waiting room

Im put the bandage on his foot and I tould him to rest for alittle then I see how he is doing..I help some other patients then I go on my lunch break I decided to let Michael stay for awhile cause he already sleeping and I told his parents to go home and I'll call them when he awakes..On my luch break I sit with the other nurses(Louise,Mindy,Annemarie,and Taylor)

Louise:how's Michael doing?
Me:pretty good he resting(taking a bite of my sandwich)
Annemarie:Oh yeah I heard Michael Jackson was in the building..
Mindy:yeah but no one knew beside us nurses and doctors
Taylor:but even then people were still peeking in the room
Me:damn right I had to close and lock the door(laughing)
Louise:lucky you though..
Mindy:go take him lunch
Me:I dought he up..
Louise:just go

so I went to the kitchen area and got him a soda,pizza,apples slices,and chips and headed to his room I quietly open the door and set down the tray but he was already awake

Michael:oh thanks I was wondering if I would get fed(smiling)
Me:oh I always bring my patients food..

(kncok on the door)

Me:come in
Louise:(closing the door)hello still on my luch break..
Me:I was just gonna leave
Michael:Na' you don't have to
Louise:see what a nice person
Me:(sighing)fine
Louise:so Michael all the nurses love you
Michael:(blushing)tell em' I said thanks
Louise:will do
Me:Louise your such a pain in the as--
Louise:no foul language in front of a patient
Me:I was gonna say ash but no you to assume stuff..(turning to Michael)It's okay for you to go home want me too call your parents?
Michael:I really don't want to leave but I guess I take up room..
Louise:I'll call the parents..

Louise leaves and it's just me and Michael..I'm filling out his paper work and he is putting his one shoe on,the other foot has a hospital shoe he looks funny..

Me:what you gonna do if the tabloids see you?
Michael:I don't care what people think it's already on the news I bet..
Me:oh I barely watch the news
Michael:oh thats a good thing...there always making things up about me..

(Louise comes in)

Louise:Parents are here waiting need help?
Michael:Na' can I talk to her for a sec?
Louise:sure(closing the door slowly)
Me:what is it?
Michael:I havn't got your name?
Me:oh it's Jennell..
Michael:last name..
Me:Mendez
Michael:walk me out I'm kinda handicap(giggling)

I help him out to his limo...before he gets in he shakes my hand and mouths what looks like call me I looked in my hand and there was a piece of paper with his number on it..I went back to work..I work my ass off today I worked from 8 in the morning till 6 at night I got home Kicked off my shoes and grabbed some ice cream and watched the news...While I was watching the news the showed a areial view of the Hospital this is what the News caster said

News Caster:this is footage of the Superstar Michael Jackson entering Encino General Hospital and exiting with a cast on his foot.It is said to belive that the singer fell off stage and passed out Family members rushed him to the E.R were he was to remain for 2 hours thats the latest on Michael Jackson more later..

I couldn't belive what I was hearing,none of this was true he didn't fall offstage or pass out I was looking at his number for ten mintues then finally decided to call..

(ring,ring,ring,ri--)
