BUTTERFLIES - pt 18

Sorry it took so long! Enjoy!

I have only told four people that I'm pregnant. Janet, La Toya, Rebbie and Katherine. I didn't want to tell the boys until I told Michael, cos they aren't very good at keeping their mouths shut. In a way, I don't wanna tell Mike because he might wanna put the movie on hold and that might not be good for his career. But I guess I have to. I decided to tell him after he finished on Friday.

**Friday 8:00pm

I walk into the room where everyone is rehearsing for the next scene. They're almost finished, so I watch. The Scarecrow and Dorothy (played by Diana Ross) are talking.

Michael: Sucess, fame and fortune, they're all illusions. All there is that is real is the friendship that two can share.
Diana: That's beautiful! Who said that?
Michael: (cheeky smile) I did.

I smiled and kept watching. They skip to the part where they discover the Wiz is a fake.

Michael: Now I'll never get my brain!

I burst out laughing and I was on the floor in hysterics. The actors looked annoyed and Michael thought it would be smart to escort me outside.

Michael: (giggle) What are ya doin here?
Me: (still laughing) I...got...something...to tell ya.
Michael: Yeah?
Me: I'm p-
Quincy: Michael, we need you in here. Sorry miss, we have some buisness to tend to.
Michael: We'll talk about this later. Go home, I'll meet you there. (kisses me and leaves)

I sigh and go home. I'm there for about half an hour and Michael arrives.

Me: Okay can I tell you?
Michael: Can I eat first, I'm so hungry.
Me: (sigh) Okay.

Katherine walks out that minute and I'm super embarassed when she gives me almost more helping than Michael. He raises an eyebrow but lets it go. We ate it on the couch and Michael finished first. He put his plate in the kitchen and rested his head on my lap while I finished. Katherine came by and took my plate.

Me: Thanks.
Katherine: Have you told him yet?
Me: I will now. (notices he's fallen asleep) You're kidding me.
Katherine: Aww he's had a big day.
Me: (gently nudges him) Mike, wanna go to bed?
Michael: Yep. (heads up stairs) Night everyone.
Me: I'll be up there soon.

I watch the Flinstones with Janet for a bit and we're talking all throughout it.

Janet: Do you wanna boy or girl?
Me: Hmm I don't know.
Janet: I hope it's a boy. (lol Janet's a tomboy)
Me: Haha.
Janet: Have you thought about names?
Me: Maybe for a girl, Mia. I like that name. Hmm a boy should be....hmmm.
Janet: Alexander? 
Me: That would be nice... but I'd like something more unique.
Janet: I can't think. I'm too tired.
Me: Yeah I'm probably gunna hit the hay. You know the rule - no boys over after 10:00pm
Janet: Haha okay. Goodnight.

I walk upstairs and get ready to tell Michael. I wonder how he'll take it.
