five girls - five jacksons pt.4
Hey everyone! Here's part 4 of my story Shout out to: Mandy(in love with a jackson), Vicky(no matter what), mj fans everywhere and of course, my sweetheart michael joseph jackson (i love u even moooooore!!!) PART 4 Latoya: Hey, everybody! Oh, are these your sistas, Stevie? Stevie: Yeah, they are We were all introduced again and were (again) greeted with warm embraces! We all got talking once more and this gave Olivia, Pam, Jay and me to get to know the Jacksons a lot better. At one point Katherine came outside carrying a plate with the most delicious muffins I had ever tasted and joined in the conversation. We told her all about growing up in Indiana and how weâ??ve always shared her kidâ??s passion for music and dance. Katherine was really interested and so were the rest of the family. Katherine told us about raising the kids back in Gary and how her husband Joseph had rehearsed the boys every night after coming home from the steel mill. I realized how much this woman had had to worry in the past and how strong she had been and still was after all this time! Would the money she and Joe earned be enough to support them and the kids and their passion for music? Would the strip clubs her little boys performed in before they got famous have a bad influence on their upbringing? When Joe quit his job to become the Jackson 5â??s full time manager would they really make it to the top and achieve the goals they had fought for night after night in every single night club in Chicago? Katherine told us how proud she was when her sons got to perform at the Apollo for the first time and what that first call from Motown had meant. Katherine: Lord, that was the happiest day in my life! Finally I could relax a little, because now I really knew for sure that my boys would make itâ?¦Joe and I had so many fights over the future and how we would be able to afford instruments and recording equipment but when we picked up the phone and heard Motown was interested in signing the Jackson5â?¦well! Katherine kissed Randy who was sitting next to her on the top of his head and stroked his hair lovingly. Randy blushed. Randy: (a bit embarrassed) Mom! Iâ??m eighteen! Katherine: (letting him be) Iâ??m sorry, I donâ??t want to embarrass you in front of the ladies, baby! But Iâ??m just so proud of all of you! Me: (from the heart): You should be, Mrs. Jacâ?¦.I mean Katherine! I think you have wonderful children! (grinning at Randy) Even though they may be a bit cheeky at timesâ?¦ We all laughed and Katherine thanked me. Katherine: Itâ??s so sweet of you to say that, Beth sweetie! I must say that Stevie was right about all of you ladies! You are all such nice and charming girls with such good manners! (she winked at her sons) you should hurry up before some other men snatch them away from you! J, M, R, M & J: MOM! Katherine: Sorry, sweeties! Itâ??s the truthâ?¦well, I think Iâ??ll leave you now, Iâ??ve got a few errands to run. (gets up) Have fun. Oh, and girls (stops and smiles warmly at me and my P.Y.T.s) it was lovely talking to you and getting to know you. Take care of them, Stevie! Stevie: (grinning) Oh, theyâ??re in good hands! When Katherine had left the rest of us carried on talking about our lives and our hobbies and our favorite movies. God, how I loved this family! They were all so alike, so kind and warm and yet they were so different. Iâ??ll describe them for you: Rebbie was a very motherly person, she probably got this from being the eldest and having to take care of eight younger siblings for so many years. Latoya was completely different, though kind and loving she did have a different side to her. I could tell after five minutes talking with her that she was a bit bitchy, but I kinda liked that about her, she was fun to talk to! You definitely noticed that Janet was the cute baby in the familyâ?¦she was very sweet and was always hanging on to Michael. I sensed a very strong bond between the two of them, more than with their other siblings. It reminded me a lot of the relationship Olivia and I have. Jackie, being the oldest brother was a kind of warrior type and very athletic. He must have been the most muscular Jackson. He always acted tuff, but I could tell he was a softy inside! I also really liked Jermaine, because he was very easy going and funny and you could tell that he loved to fool around a lot. I noticed he also seemed very close to Michael. Marlon was a real prankster, too. While we were talking he kept teasing us and wouldnâ??t stop joking around. Jermaine told us that Marlon was the one who got into trouble the most, even now! Randy was just really funny and cheeky as well. He was the second youngest and you really noticed this because he was very self confident and had absolutely no respect for his older siblings. I noticed that he too was close to Michael and Janet. The Jackson I still loved most was Michael. Every time he spoke in that soft kind voice of his I felt chills run up and down my spine and butterflies fluttered in my stomach! I was yearning to take his hand in mineâ?¦stroke his hairâ?¦caress his lips with my fingertipsâ?¦I had to sit on my hands so as not to jump up and do just that! Each time he did that I melted a little more insideâ?¦ Soon the late afternoon drifted into an early evening and Janet invited us to have dinner with the Jacksons. At this point I would have stayed for Christmas, as long as I had an excuse to stare at Michael some more :). I looked over at my siblings and at Jay and Pam and I could see that they were ready to stay here foreverâ?¦ Janet: So? What about itâ?¦would you like to stay for dinner (looking at us eagerly)? Michael: Oh, yes, please do! That would be great! (smiling at me) My heart missed a beat. Did Michael like me??? He certainly was smiling at me a lot. Rebbie: Of course! Youâ??d be very welcome to, Mom will be pleased. Jackie: (suddenly) Hey! Iâ??ve got a great idea. How would you like to sleep over? Weâ??ve been wanting to have a sleep over for ages and at was actually Stevieâ??s idea to do one when you came! So, ummâ?¦watcha say? (-ooh, that you only meant wellâ?¦sorry!
