SMILE part 7

It was Friday and Selena and Nathan have invited everyone over for dinner tonight.

Selena: Hey baby! Glad you could make it!
Me: Hey hun. 
Nathan: Hey Mariah. I never got to say how sorry I am about Kyle.
Me: Nah it's cool. Hey what's that smell?
Nathan: My mom's home made Spaghetti Bolognese.
Me: Oooh sounds yummy.
Nathan: Well, let's eat.

Something was weird. Nathan was very protective of Selena. He kept asking if she was okay all the time. At the end, everyone was full and undoing the button on their pants. Nathan and Selena stand up.

Nathan: Hope everyone enjoyed their dinner.
Selena: Nathan and I have some news.
Everyone goes silent.
Selena: I'm pregnant!
Jess: OMG!
Me: Congratulations Sellz.

Everyone was shocked and I definetly was. She said if it was a girl, she would be Jessica. If it was a boy, probably Matthew. I went home and the next day was my dinner with Michael and his family. I was really nervous because Michael hasn't mentioned much about his fam and I really didn't know what to expect. Michael met me at my house and I wore a mini blue dress.

Ever since starting at the desinger job, my fashion sense has improved so much. Michael commented with an open mouth. I blushed (as usual) We got into the limo and I resisted the champagne, okay I had one. It was okay because Michael joined me this time.

MJ: My mom is Katherine. My dad is Joe.
Me: Cool, worst case scenario, I'll call Joe Katherine and call Katherine Joe.
MJ: Hehehe.

We walked in and Michael was greeted by a hug from Janet.

Janet: Hey smelly.
MJ: Hey poopers.
Janet: Is this Mariah?
Me: Yeah I am. Nice to meet you poopers.
Janet: Haha I'm Janet. But you can call me Miss Awesome.
Me: I think I'll stick with poopers. Haha.

Katherine: Mikey! Nice to see you, son.
MJ: Hi mother. This is my friend Mariah.
Katherine: (hugging me) Any friend of my son is a friend of mine. I'm Katherine.
Me: Wow, you're even more beautiful than what Michael was saying.
Katherine: Thanks.

We walk into the livingroom.
