It was the afternoon and instead of getting married, Michael was in hospital. His room was empty and he was thankful to be alive despite his head hurting. His plans of running away from marrying Pamela with Chanelle failed. He heard his mother get in the room.He didnt feel like talking. "Michael tell me whats wrong." she said gently. "I love Chanelle, momma! Pamela got me to pretend I was into Chanelle so I would dump her at the wedding." Michael blurted out. His mother was horrified. "Why would she do that to her own sister and why did you agree to it?" his mother asked. "I did it out of love for Pamela. I guess falling for Chanelle wasnt part of the plan." Katherine looked at him then sighed. "I dont like Chanelle because of her boyish ways but if you love her you would tell her the truth." Michael knew she was right. He really wanted to be with her. What if the truth killed all chances of them being together? It was a risk he had to take.
