It Was Meant To Be:Part Twenty
This is dedicated to caitlyn,lilly,mimi,kelly,keke and everyone else on this. a specail dedication to chris koz it took balls to apologize to a bunch of angry female michael jackson fans lol. and of course dedicated to michael. thanks for reading.-sarah It was 12pm as i rolled over and looked at my clock. I was still tired so i thought i would take another hour just to lie there. Michael wasnâ??t in the bed so i figured he was already downstairs since i could hear voices coming from the kitchen. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep again. Michael: wakey wakey!! Me: uhhh..ummm 10 minutes (still with my eyes closed) Michael: guess ill have to celebrate your birthday with someone else then (getting off the bed) Me: (jumping up) oh my god its my birthday and i forgot..that has never happened to me before! Michael: (sitting back down) well youv had a lot on your mind lately.. Me: yeah thats true but still usually id be nagging you not to forget it (laughing) Michael: (laughing) i know and i think from all those years of nagging i finally have it drilled in my head....well happy birthday anyway sweetheart (kissing me) Me: thanks honey (smiling) im gonna go take a shower and maybe we can just relax and spend a quiet day together.. Michael: as quiet as id love it to be..do you remember what day it is? Me: (getting off the bed and walking to the bathroom) mike i forgot my birthday do really think im gonna forget what day it is..its fri... I stopped and realised it was Friday. The day our interview is going to broadcast. That means my house is going to be ten times as worse as it was and it has been pretty packed with media already. I put my hand on my forehead just fed up with it. Me: (i look at Michael) what time is it airing? Michael: they said nine tonight so we still have a whole day in some kind of quiet. Me: well we better make the most of it cause the police cant help us any more. Michael: donâ??t worry i already hired a lot of security for the next month..oh and my family said they were gonna stay for another week...they love it here! Me: thats good im sure my dad will appreciate the company(smiling)...ok i better get in the shower.. Michael: ill be downstairs when your ready... So i hopped in the shower and got ready. I only took an hour this time which was a surprise for me. It was now 2pm and i could smell a BBQ as i walked down the stairs. When i walked into the kitchen everybody was there and they said happy birthday. My family hugged me and so did the Jacksons. My sister and brothers gave me a card and a present and so did the Jacksons. Me: aw thanks guys you really didnâ??t have to.. Katherine: of course we did..your family..(smiling) Me: thank you so much.. Katherine: well go on open it up.. I opened the Jacksons present and it was a voucher for $1000 to a guess shop in LA. Me: what? You really didnâ??t have to get me this its way too much.. Katherine: its the least we can do for you especially since your letting us stay in your home.. Dad: you should see what they done for me (pointing outside) I walked to the window and looked out. There was sitting a brand new black BMW with 20â? chrome rims. My jaw dropped to the floor. Dad: well Michael got me that but the rims are from the whole Jackson family...i love it..i cant stop looking at it (laughing) I looked at Michael still with my mouth open. Everybody was laughing at my reaction. Me: (finally closing my mouth) mike you never told me this? Michael: i wanted to surprise everyone..and its a thank you for letting us stay in the house.. Dad: well i owe you a lot of stays in my house for this (laughing) I can see how happy my father is again and i turn to Michael and mouth thank you and i smile. He just smiles and winks at me. I then looked my voucher and hugged all the Jacksons individually. As i went to hug Michael he said. Michael: oh no this isnâ??t from me...my present is for later on..(smiling) My sister: i hope you donâ??t mean what i think you mean... Me: lauren!!! Dirty mind! Michael: (laughing) no i have something for you but your going to have to wait. Me: aw i donâ??t like waiting (laughing) My sister: open me Richie and Damienâ??s present.. I opened the present which was very heavy and skinny. I opened it and turned it around. It was a picture of our family just before i left for America in a crystal frame and we all looked so happy. I was sitting beside my mother with my head on her shoulder smiling and everyone was standing up and leaning down smiling beside us. It was the best present ive ever gotten. I mean the Jacksonâ??s present was amazing but this meant so much to me. As i stared at it a tear rolled down my cheek and onto the picture. My sister hugged me and i just said thank you so much to all of them. Me: i love it..it means so much to me.. Michael: you can put that beside our bed in LA.. Me: (smiling) i donâ??t have any pictures there thats a good idea.. Dad: (coming back in) ok foods ready We all went outside and i left my presents on the counter. The food was amazing. My dad was always a good cook. We all ate and went inside to talk and before we knew it, it was 9oclock. So i turned on me and Michaelâ??s interview. We all laughed because i looked so nervous and Michael looked so calm. I blushed looking at myself on TV because it was embarrassing, especially when we talked about our sex life because both my father and Michaelâ??s parents were watching this. We just looked at each other, smiled and blushed. When our families looked at us we looked down still blushing. We held hands watching it and every time the audience said â??awwwâ? me and Michael would just look at each other and smile. It was a half an hour and it was over. We all laughed and talked about funny bits that happened during it. Usually it was my mistakes that they laughed at. Within 5 minutes of the end of the interview the phone started ringing. My father answered it. Dad: hello? Voice: hi can i speak to Sarah please? Dad: sure can i ask who is calling? Voice: its Caitlyn, is this Mr. Kelly? Dad: little Caitlyn Connell from Sarahâ??s primary school? Caitlyn: yes..hi Mr. Kelly, its been so long..im so sorry about your wife i only just heard. Dad: after all these years you still wont call me Neil (laughing) and thank you.. Caitlyn: after all these years you still call me little Caitlyn Connell (laughing) Dad: well last time i seen you i could almost pick you up with one hand (laughing)ill get Sarah for you now.. Caitlyn: thank you Mr...i mean Neil. I can hear my father shouting from the kitchen that the phone was for me. I let go of Michaels hand and go out and my father hands me the phone. Me: (whispering) who is it? Dad: Caitlyn.. I thought to myself Caitlyn who? Me: hello? Caitlyn: hi Sarah its Caitlyn..from primary school.. Me: oh my god i cant believe it..i havnt seen you in so long how are you? Caitlyn: never mind me..am i seeing things or are you and Michael Jackson together?(laughing) Me: im guessing you seen the interview then (laughing) Caitlyn: i cant believe your dating thee Michael Jackson. And trust me EVERYBODY seen the interview. I got calls flying in and i was nominated to ring you instead of everybody ringing you.. Me: really like who? Caitlyn: just think about our whole group of friends from primary school and secondary school. Even one of our teachers rang me! Me: (laughing) i suppose its a shock for most people.. Caitlyn: its a shock for Ireland Sarah! (laughing) and tell me how did you keep this a secret for so long? Me: we just kept out of the spotlight together..but now thats it out i guess we donâ??t have to anymore. Caitlyn: this is just too crazy..i gotta get some sleep but i will talk to you tomorrow..oh and by the way happy birthday.. Me: how did you remember my birthday after all these years..thank you! Sure call over tomorrow and meet my boyfriend (laughing) Caitlyn: i might faint but ok thanks..see ya tomorrow! Me: bye Caitlyn.. I hung up and just smiled to myself as i walked into the room were my family were. I sat down beside Michael talking to my father. Michael: what are you so happy about (smiling and holding my hand) Me: that was a girl i havnt talked to in years and apparently a lot of people seen our interview.. Michael: well yeah it was on TV (laughing) Me: (i nudge him playfully) you know what i mean..i mean my friends..even teachers!! Michael: well wait for tomorrow..i bet this house will be impossible to get out of because of the people outside..and this time the media will wanna talk to you.. Me: no they wont..they want Michael Jackson not some unknown mystery girl your dating.. Michael: your not a mystery now once they know your name your gonna be a main target for them to get more information about you..i would chose my close friends wisely if i was you..and make sure nothing personal is given to anyone or it will be in the tabloids in seconds.. Me: wow i wasnâ??t expecting this much stress!! Michael: it will be fine..you have me to protect you (smiling) Me: aw (i kiss him and everybody goes aw just to embarrass us) We pull away slowly, smile and blush at each other. It is now 11pm and we are all still talking and having fun. My father is with Joe and my brothers outside sitting in the car. I get up to get another bottle of wine for the women and i ask Michael to join me. We walk into the kitchen and he sits on a stool as i go to the wine cooler. I take out a bottle and put it on the counter. Michael: whats up? Me: just wanted to properly thank you for doing that for my dad..he seems really happy and im glad it was you to finally bring smiles to his face.. I walk over to him and he puts his hands on my waist and i wrap mine around his neck. we slowly begin to kiss each other and it turns into a very passionate kiss. i loved when this happened cause it really showed me the side of Michael i loved, his sexy side. We pulled away and he bit his bottom lip. Me: so was my sister right about what my birthday present was going to be? (smirking) Michael: actually thats more a bonus for after your present..(smiling and taking my hand) come on.. Me: am i getting my present? (smiling) Michael: not yet...(putting me down on the couch were we first were) sit there ill be back in two minutes.. Me: ok.. I start to talk to Janet and Katherine while Michael is gone. I forgot about my present and my dad, my brothers and Joe came back so we were all back in the living room again. Suddenly the lights started to dim. I thought it was just my brother messing with them but they stayed dimmed. As i was talking to Janet i notice her stop looking at me and look up smiling. Then i felt someone take my hand and as i looked Michael was holding my hand. Me: what you doing? (looking around and everybody looking at me) Michael: Sarah.. Me: yes?? (still confused) Michael: i love you so much Sarah but i really donâ??t want you as my girlfriend anymore!! Me: what? (putting my hands over my mouth about to cry) Michael: (kneeling down on one knee) because i want you as my wife (taking out the ring i seen that day) will you marry me? Me: (looking at my dad smiling, he nods as to say yes he has my blessing) oh Michael of course i will!! ( i wrap my arms around his neck hugging and kissing him) He picks me up and we kiss. Everybody is smiling and all the girls are in tears. I smile at Michael then look and see the girls in tears. Me: whats wrong with you? All: hes just so romantic! Everybody starts laughing at them and Michael finally puts the ring on my finger and wow it looks so much bigger on my finger than in the box. Me: oh mike its beautiful (i kiss him again) Michael: beautiful ring for a beautiful woman!! Me: aw mike (i hug him and look at my ring again) I look over at my dad and i run to him and hug him. Me: i love you daddy. Thank you so much.. Dad: hes a great guy and i see your love for one another is real..im just happy you found the one! Me: im glad you finally seen that......... To be continued...... Sorry that was unbelievably boring again. I was good writing at the start but lately my mind goes blank. Im sorry the next part will come soon thats if your not bored of my story already lol.-sarah
