Bad Romance (Part 1)

Hey guyyyysss!! Its me Applejackz. I had this really cool idea for a story! Idk if I should continue Christmas Wish for Mistletoe. Here goes notin...=D

When the year is 1978,you are 16, and have Cancer, Nobody wants to be your friend. It was a typical day at my doctor's office. I was in khemotherapy and of course the Nurse was trying to make conversation.

Nurse: Did you have a nice day at school Mary?
Me: Same old Same Old.
Nurse: But what about that nice fellow? Jake?
Me: They all turn out the same. No use in asking.
Nurse: (Handing me a cup) Here. Drink this before you take the pills.
Me:(Drinking) Can you spare me this once!?
Nurse: Yes...
Me: Wait...What are you talking about?
Nurse: You have a special visitor.

Then I saw him. Tan skin, Deep brown eyes that I could just drownd in. And then his smile. Natural white teeth. Michael Jackson??? Wow...He looks even better in real life.

Michael: Hello. I-I-I'm M-M-Michael.

He was nervous I could tell that.

Me: Yes...I know. I'm Mary. Mary Swendel. As you can see...I am a 16 year old with Cancer.

Oh shit! I probably just scared him away! But instead of backing up like everyone else,he sat beside me! I could get used to this nice man.

Michael: I know. I'm here to help you.
Me: Isnt everyone?
Michael: Well...I know you dont have many friends. Nurse Jones told me. But that's why I'm here.

Why does everyone think I NEED friends? I am perfectly fine alone. But nobody else seems to get that. My question is,Why Michael JACKSON of all people? Yeah sure, they could have gotten Marlon or Jermaine. But why Michael? That was a question I would soon get an answer to....
