How It All Began

It began in 1984
When death came knocking on my door
My lungs collaped and doctors sealed my fate
The next event happend out of strong faith
The nurses were screaming and yelling in doors
Calling in doctors from every floor
That baby woke up and that same girl they thoght ended her life cycle
Woke up crying and said the name Michael.
Now I am here and can't understand
Why those media hounds would degrade such a man.
They try to make it seem that he lost his sanity
But he is more of a man than those cynics will ever be.
He only brought millions of people joy.
He has been doing this since he was a little boy.
This is how my admiration began
Being intriguied by such a man.
So gentle and humble and a caring soul.
How can some people be so cold.
Now I pray for him and my heart stays intensed
With God on his side he has the best defense.
At night I pray and look beyond the stars at night
Telling the Lord he is not alone in this fight.
I pray for the day I can tell you face to face
Thank you Michael for in my heart nobody will take your place.
It began as I was a small baby being amazed by his presence
Now a young woman whose admiration is still present.
It began as a kid looking up to her hero
Now it is an admiration for a role model
That the critics will never know.
I can't wait for this horrible chapter you are facing Michael will all end
And you have seen those you can call caring, honest and loving friend.
I'm here if you need me and that's how it will hopefully begin.
My love and respect for Michael will never end.
