Itâ??s been 5 years now since Alannaâ??s death and 3 years since Michael and I separated. Yes we separated, Alannaâ??s death tore me up so much inside it tore Michael and I apart. Stormi lives with Michael, while I live in Los Angeles by myself in a house for 3. Michael and I started talking again about 3 months ago and weâ??ve been talking ever since. I felt awful for leaving him, but I felt even more awful for not being there to protect Alanna, we still havenâ??t discovered who shot her. Which is making me mad; whoever did it I hope gets stuck in the slammer for life if they ever find out who did it! Today I got a phone call from Michael that kind of shocked me. Ring, Ring, Ring, Ri- Me: (I answer the phone) yellow? Michael: Purple Me: (giggles) why hello Michael Michael: Hey Me: whatâ??s up? Michael: Nothing really, Stormi has a boyfriend now Me: Oh she does, does she? Michael: Yeah, his name is Robert I think Me: did you give her that little talk about â??In the Closetâ?? Michael: (laughs) no, I forgot about that, thanks for reminding me Me: (smiles) youâ??re welcome Michael: hey are you doing anything today? Me: (looking at my schedule on my cell) nope, nothing why? Michael: just wanted to see if youâ??d like to come over Me: itâ??s been 3 years Michael; I donâ??t want the press to start crap all over again Michael: if they do they do. I just want to see you again, I miss you When he said that, I realized how much I missed him it almost brought tears to my eyes Michael: Hello, hello? Are you still there? Me: (slowly and softly saying) I miss you too Michaelâ?¦ Michael: so what do you say? Me: Yeah (I smiled a little) Iâ??d like to come over and see you againâ?¦. Michael: (smiles) cool Iâ??ll see you in an hour? Me: Yeah in an hour. After we hung up I decided to get dressed. Iâ??ve been in my pjâ??s for a couple days just lounging around the house. I put on a pair of skinnies, a red Ed Hardy tank top, and a pair of flats. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, put my make up on, etc. then I headed to Michaelâ??s house. Itâ??s been 3 years since Iâ??ve really seen him; Iâ??ve only seen him on myspace. But I havenâ??t seen him in the flesh for a while a long while. My feelings are still very strong for him, but are his feelings the same way still? I pulled into Michaelâ??s drive way and got out of my car. Man, how I missed this place. I remember Michael chasing me around that tree by the cotton candy stand just to kiss me. Oh how I missed it, how I missed himâ?¦how I missed having a family. I was looking around while I was still standing in my spot and Michael walked out of the house and over to me. Michael: (whispers in my ear) boo Me: (jumps a little and turns around) Michael Michael: (Smiles) yes? Me: God, Iâ??ve missed you (I hugged him) Michael: (Smiles and hugs me) Iâ??ve missed you more Me: (smiles and giggles) I missed you more (I looked into his eyes) more than youâ??ve missed me Michael: alright you win this time. (smiles) take a walk with me, Iâ??d like to ask you something Oh, I know heâ??s gonna ask me to be with him again I just know it! I nodded in agreement and we started to walk around his property. I remember this place so well, I smiled at the memories of when Mike proposed to me on the Ferris wheel, and thinking later that I slid into a tableâ?¦I can still think of that pain and I have the scar for memories. I crossed my arms as Michael had his fists jammed into his pockets. It was quiet for a while, I knew Michael was nervous so I decided to speak. Me: Michael Michael: hmm? (he looked at me) Me: whatâ??d you wanna ask me? Michael: oh, yeahâ?¦I was wondering if youâ??d like to be my date to the AMAâ??s next week Saturday, you know as friends. Me: Ohâ?¦um, sure. I donâ??t really know what to wear though Michael: (Smiles) Iâ??ve picked something out for you Me: You knew I wasnâ??t going to turn down right Michael: (Smiling and acting a little shy) no Me: whatever Michael (I playfully nudged him) Michael: alright yeah I knew you wouldnâ??t say no Me: (laughs) it feels good to be starting over againâ?¦ Michael: yeah it does When I looked at him, I just wanted to kiss him. I loved him so much, but the way he sounded it was like he just wanted to be friends with me only. So I didnâ??t dare kiss him, I mean I broke his heart in two. Right in half right down the middle. We didnâ??t say anything the rest of the time we were outside, when we walked inside I stopped dead in my tracks as Michael continued walking thinking I was following him. I stopped because I saw the same spot wear Alanna was lying dead, I slowly felt my eyes fill with tears and I turned right around and walked out and went to my car. I turned my car on and the engine roared to life, I saw Michael in my rearview mirror moving towards my car before I could drive off, he came up to my window and knocked on it and motioned for me to roll it down. I didnâ??t listen to him for a few minutes until I decided too. My car was still running but I rolled down the window and looked up at him our eyes locked. Michael: do you mind explaining to my why you were going to leave? to be continued.... not until i get 10 votes :P
