  This is Maria Carmenâ??s real mother. I seeing her for the first time. But now I donâ??t feel anger in me anymore like I use to when I first saw Maria Carmen and me and my family took her home. I donâ??t see a evil women trying to get rid of a infint babyâ?¦but a women who cared for her that she was willing to leave her for my family to find her.
(Me):so are you here to take her back?

(Jalice):I was thinking thatâ?¦

(Maria Carmen):*crying*daddyâ?¦

(Me):can you hold that for a minute.

(Jalice):can I come with you?

(Me):sure.
    Me and Jalice went upstairs. I see Maria Carmen crying in the bed. I came over and sat beside her. I wrapped my arms around her little body.
(Me):baby whatâ??s wrong?

(Maria Carmen):I had a dream I never see you again. And that scared me.*crying harder*I run nd run I canâ??t ind ou.

(Me):*hugs her tightly*itâ??s okay baby. Thatâ??s never gonna happen. Oh M.C. meet your moth---Miss. Jalice.

(Maria Carmen):hi Miss Jalice.

(Jalice):hi sweetie.*starts crying* Iâ??m sorry I gotta go.

(Me):daddy will be back to tuck you in.
(Maria Carmen):no daddy donâ??t eva eave me.*turns to Jalice*I surry Miss. Jalice I made you cry.

(Jalice):no sweetie you didnâ??t  make me cry. I just never saw love between a father and daughter.

(Maria Carmen):thank ou.*to me*daddy can she sing me my to sleep.

(Me):I donâ??t mind.*to Jalice*would you like to sing?

(Jalice):I would love to. Does she have any favorites?

(Me):the 2 songs that get her to sleep are my song â??Benâ?? and â??I will always love youâ??.

(Jalice):thank you.
      Maria Carmen laid back down and Jalice got to her knees on Maria Carmenâ??s right side. I saw tears in her eyes as she started to sing this:

Maria Carmen was asleep again with a smile on her face. Jalice kissed her on her forehead. And I kissed her also before leaving with her. I placed the pillow back before we left on Maria Carmenâ??s right. Downstairs Jalice was wiping her tears away.
(Me):thank you for coming back into her life.

(Jalice):I should be thanking you. For being there for her. I wish I was a good parent like you are Michael.

(Me):thank you.  I can have her ready for you in the morning.

(Jalice):what?

(Me):donâ??t you want her back?

(Jalice):with all my heart. Butâ?¦sheâ??s more happy here with you. Iâ??m glade she happy here. So Iâ??m leaving her with her daddy. Her â??realâ? daddy.*kisses my cheek*take good care of my baby girl.

(Me):I will. You can count on that.
      As I watched Jalice left I couldnâ??t help put feel when she sung â??I will always love youâ?? for Maria Carmen I knew she was talking about her and Maria. I closed the door behind me and went upstairs. I tiptoed to the in the room and put my boxers on and climbed into bed after placing my pillow back. I kissed Maria Carmen goodnight on her forehead again. And she turned over and rested her head on my chest. Iâ??m glad sheâ??s my little girl.
